This place is a total dump and I did not feel safe there. Homeless encampments on the property and active prostitution going on. As soon as daylight arrived, I packed up and went to a better place outside of Oakland. Too bad. I have stayed at some pretty decent Motel 6's in the past.

We arrived late ,because of our connection flight from Hawaii ,The first room that we checked in was smelly ,They us in to a room that the toilet was broken and the tub was not clean ,and the floor was not clean the room was ok the AC was not working well is blow air but is smelly and not really cold ,Because is was a hot day ,I requested for maintenance to fix the toilet and Air con ,They come ,we just try to make a great of it and our stay ,The motel need a upgrade is so sad ,The hotel is near the ocean ,But the are a lot of upgrades need todo ,I love to stay on motel 6 ,This motel 6 is very dirty and smelly

Few minor things broken ice machine on my stay a couple of weeks ago this past weekend reserved a room with refrigerator and microwave but no microwave I could have upgraded for $45 bucks other minor things loose toilet seat security door latch but it was convenient

This was a last minute trip selection, but the location is very sketch with suspicious activity. The amenities were limited and there was a situation that led to the police being called. I don’t think I’d stay here again, I’d pay extra for our safety and comfort.

The location is convenient and the waterfront is nice but the rooms were gross. There were random stains in the sheets, hair in the bathtub, the fridge was stinky and the microwave e was crusty. To top it off I found a drop of blood on the floor by the bed. The price is good but you get what you pay for
