Overall for a Motel 6, the room was clean and comfortable. Convenience store and pizza restaurant adjacent to parking lot. I was here on a Friday night so a little noisy with transient traffic. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

We had to be shown four different rooms before I could find one that didn’t smell as much like cigarettes. The bathroom tub had mold in it and it was just overall a very rundown hotel.

There's poor, and there's this...

The room did stink so much that it was hard to tell if it is smoking or something else. The condition on the bedding was so bad that I decided to let go of the room, and go somewhere else. I couldn't see myself staying there for the night.

This stay was much better than i expected. Im here for work and Stockton isnt a verry safe space but my stay was very safe and clean. The staff was very friendly and helped me when my key didnt work. My car didnt get broken into and the pizza guys place next door was amazing.
