I reserved this room for 4 adults but it was so small. It does not look like the photo at all. There is No place to put our luggage. The bathroom is so small that you have to sit on the toilet bowl to take a shower. I will not reserve this room if I know it is so small.
The building is so scary for me. It is a big building with so many units and a lot of local residents, or other people in and out all the times.
Will never go back there.

Hotel péssimo sem condições
Hotel antigo, sujo,. difícil de achar pois além de ficar dentro de um prédio comercial ninguém sabe aonde fica o andar.. Lamentável, deveriam excluir...
the location; it was near the metro and due the transportnetwork it was easy to reach rest of the town.

Great place but there's downsides
Place/room didn't turn out as I expected from looking at the photos they provided on the booking site.
There is no "check in lobby" the staff sits right outside of the rooms for the check in/out. Door of my room doesn't lock from the inside, neither does it have a ledge to lock the door (not sure of other room). Door can be locked from the outside using the keys provided but staffs does not encourage to lock as it is hard to unlock. Even the locksmith have difficulty opening it (according to her). Door is left not locked with we are out all day. But needs the key to be opened. So safe from others.
Doesn't matter if room is small. You get what you pay. But I would have expected more privacy and security (lockable doors). Not being able to lock from the inside means as long as they have a spare key (they do) to our room, they can enter anytime. They did enter the room to clear the bins. Wasn't aware until I check the bin. Normal for them to clear the bins but since there isn't any safe to keep our stuffs, didn't really liked it thst they entered the room. Had to bring all our valuable with us out.
Wouldn't suggest this place for people who wants a much more secured room. But this would be good for backpackers who is just staying for few days. Or those who don't mind having not lockable doors and lesser privacy.
*No towels provided* had to request from the staff and there was only one, with holes. Gotta bring your own towel or get one from your shopping.

Clean sheets and towels.
It was a comfortable room with all the necessary amenities. It was easy to get to by bus from the airport. The MTR is literally infront of the building. The staff is very friendly and willing to give some advice.

Great Location
This was home for me from the 14th to the 19th Sep 2016. I had just arrived in HK. 9.40pm, in Portland St, I started asking about Far East Consortium Building...maybe 6 or 7 people. Nobody had a clue. finally, a young man told me to try the side road. And he was right. The entrance is just a few steps down Nelson St towards Mongkok MTR E1 exit. The sign is obscure. The guard knows no English. No help at all. I took the lift to the 20th floor. The lady who runs & owns the guest house directed me to my room. It was 10pm.
The room was clean & very compact as I expected. It overlooked Langham Place so that was nice.
This is a guest house. don't expect anyone to know it! It isn't a hotel!
Location is excellent. Just 20 steps to the E1 exit of Mongkok MTR. 40 steps away from Langham Place. 10 steps to the adjacent Grand Plaza.
The lady owner is pleasant but has limited grasp of English.
Wifi is reliable.
