Amazingly quiet- so despiyr of the quite warm room without a window in the basement, we booked an extra night. We had the twin room: perfect for us, an older backpacking couple who just need a budget place to sleep close to the station.

Omg. Wow. Let's make it short: Stay away. Not clean, broken electrics, bedding was not clean, toilets dirty and to few, insects in bed, nauseous smell among others. Price for sure to high for what you get.

Expedía shouldn’t be selling this horrible quality of product; this thing more than hostel it looks more like a shelter. The worst place ever. The guy at the office is so greedy; instead of acomódate you he rather make some money out of your situation. Horrible experience. Government should close this place; it has a very poor ventilation, dirty place; it’s not healthy at all, neither safe at all

Horrible.

It was horrible. They showed me one bed that was supposed to be mine, paid the fee for the bed sheets, only for me to be back with someone else sleeping in my bed. The beds looks like they haven't been cleaned in a while, and the same goes for the bathroom. Their safety system is very weak, because the others in the lodgement lets anybody in, even homeless people. There were also people offering drugs... it was quite a scary night. Maybe try your best with the single rooms, but I repeat the safety system is very weak and anybody can get the extra key to your room easily.

Det finns bättre ställen.

Positivt Nära centralen. Billigt. Negativt Hela stället luktar mögel. En otrolig stank som det är svårt att vänja sig vid. Ostädade rum. Taskigt inredda rum med skabbig inredning. Tjenens läslampa var trasig och min hade inte ens en glödlampa i sig. Annars bestod inredningen mest av en väggspegel som rasat ner och stod lutad mot garderoben. Kassa sängar. Sängarna var riktigt märkliga, bäddmadrasserna var större än själva sängstommen och hängde ut på sidorna. Sängarna gav av sig sådana ljud och gav oss en känsla av att kunna falla ihop när som helst. Märklig personal, öppnade våran dörr utan att ens knacka innan. Dålig stämning, hela stället gav dåliga vibes och verkar locka till sig ett skult klientel. Sammanfattningsvis det funkar någon natt om pengarna tryter, eller som det i vårat fall, var fullt på alla andra hotell. Har man möjlighet att boka något annat bör man göra det.

Skumt ställe. Rummer mycket undermåligt med mögel och hylla som inte satt fast. Priserna för att hyra lakan stämmer inte med det som står på hotels. Toaletter trånga och smutsiga, men det kan bero på dem som bor där och inte personalen... inte prisvärt.

This was just sad. Bed Bugs in the bed and room. Stayed for 2 night, but it was worse than I thought. Service was good, but not the little pets sucking blood. Cheap, but not worth the money when you know that you will wake up in the night with them crawling around you in the bed..

Helt ok!

Vi var i Sthlm för sightseeing och var inte särskilt mycket på rummet. I rummen fanns det sängar och en vask. Inte mer än så och inte särskilt mycket plats. Det vore bra om hotellet uppdaterade sina bilder från hemsidan - då jag knappt kan se att det är från samma byggnad. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsam. Men vandrarhemmet får 3/5 för att sängarna funkade att sova i, men det luktade rätt illa i övriga utrymmen. Upplevde det dock som ganska rent.

It gave me the creeps. Strange clientele, did not feel like tourists. Very thin walls and doors, could hear everything. After just som minutes in the room I felt regret over booking this. Read some reviews and this increased my feeling off regret. Did not feel safe and comfortable. Checked out and left. So glad I had the time and money to check into another hotel.

Min värsta natt någonsin. Bodde på 28 persons rum och det var inte alls bra. Folk snarkade högt bredvid mig och det gick in och ut folk under natten hela tiden. Hittade även ett kryp i sängen. Man får köpa sängkläder som kostar 60kr. Sängkläderna var iaf bra. Men det var mycket bra läge, mitt i centrala Stockholm. Fick köpa öronpropppar mitt i natten.

They charge extra for the bed sheets. Dirty and stinky, starting from the broken entrance door to the broken washroom facilities. If you arrive late at night you might not even get your room number and the code. There’s nothing you can enjoy about this place and honestly it shouldn’t be listed here.

The Hostel is well located, near the station and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. But the cleanliness was awful, the room was dirty and we needed to pay for towels and bedsheets. The men’s toilets were full of piss. The staff was very unfriendly and people in these hostel were strange. Our triple room didn’t have a window, it looked like a shelter, I don’t know how this can be legal in an European country. Overall we paid too much for this conditions.

I was wary before arriving at the City Lodge Hostel, having read the reviews. However it was soon apparent on arrival that the staff were working really hard to maintain a clean environment. I experienced no problems regarding the availability of reception staff. The furniture was well worn but considering the price of the hostel it was really good value. The location is absolutely perfect for a short stay with easy access to all sites and amenities.

We aren't picky and have stayed in lots of hostels. I killed 3 bedbugs in our room, 1 was full of blood. Bathrooms were filthy our entire stay. Feces on walls, blood on toilet seats, mold all over shower walls, bath floors covered with tp & trash. Kitchen was dirty and unusable. Refrigerator packed full of residents' food. Several guests obviously were locals who used this as a full time residence (near homeless). Can't recommend this place. Stay here if you can't find anything else.
