The AC was a bit noisy so it was hard to sleep when having it on max power (which is a must when it is +40 degrese outside). The gym equipment was in a really bad condition and must be changed to more modern. An AC must be installed in the gym as well. The rest of the hotel was very good, especially the food.

This hotel was lovely. Well located for shops and bars but without being too near as to be disturbed by noise. No rush to get sunbeds - there were always some available. Upon check-in we got our room upgraded to a more expensive room with a better view, so that was great! The part of the hotel we lived in was modern and clean, and the people working at the hotel were helpful. The pool was nice, and there were events and live music in the evenings (even with free welcome drinks). All in all we loved our stay there! The only thing that would make it better, is that the aircondition could have been a bit more powerful, for our liking.

This is a GREAT Hotel venue with excellent amenities. Great breakfast, nice pool and bar, wonderful staff, one block from the beach and outside bars and restaurants. It has ONE outstanding weak link: they want to charge you $18 euros for a key to the room safe which in any other hotel room would be a complimentary amenity in the room. This flaw is ridiculous and unacceptable in 2023.

This property is just OK. I don’t think I would classify it as a four-star property more like a three star . The rooms are suitable. However, the beds are very hard I can almost sleep on anything, and I ended up with a sore back at the end of my week. They are very chintzy at this hotel. I asked for some more water and she said at the front desk that you only receive two bottles per stay, give me a break. In addition, there is a room safe however, there is no key when I inquired about that they’re charging you for the key. There is also no iron in the room where they are charging you an additional cost to use that iron for rental. There is no kettle in the room or no espresso machine , there’s so many other hotels that have the basic necessities apology as previously mentioned with no additional charge that I can’t understand why anybody would choose this one . The breakfast is OK however, I struggle to find anything healthy at the Buffay other than one day that they provided some smoothies . I tried to take a dip in the cold pool in the under covered area, and as I was sitting on the side of the pool area, I was attacked by an ants nest on the pool deck . I’m not sure what kind of ants these are but they were the biting kind.

The front desk staff is not able to properly communicate in English or German, so you better speak Spanish and even if you do they will not be of any help. I asked where to get water and they sent me to a vending machine not telling me there was 2 free waters in the room. I asked how much breakfast was and they said it was included, sat down started to eat when a lady asked for our room number. She then tells us we need to go pay after we started to eat and after we were told it was free. It cost over 25 euros for 2 people.for their breakfast and thebfood was terrible definitely not worth the money. Final straw was the air conditioning broke, our room got to 40°C with no breeze coming from the outside. When we talked with front desk they said no maintenance available, no manager to talk to, no room to change to(B.S. because there were rooms advertised), no fan to give us and no refund if we leave. First the front desk lady said "it was working yesterday, why is it not today". I replied" i dont know I'm not an A/C repair guy". She then tells us since we booked our room through hotels.com we should contact them with this problem and have them fix it. YES because hotels.com is responsible for your air conditioning problems. Beware of this hotel chain, they do not care if you have issues/problems.
