Hamburg central.

Small but comfortable single room. However, I assumed the room was south facing, and therefore in direct sunlight which transformed the room into a greenhouse effect, far too hot with no air conditioning. And as the location of the hotel is directly opposite the main station / Hauptbahnhof, there was a lot of traffic noise and pedestrian noise from street, so I had to keep the widows closed to prevent this, and keep the curtains closed to block the sun from radiating heat into the room.

Close to Hbf, has the essentials

This is pretty much what you’d expect for the price. It’s a pretty bare bones room (I got the smallest single) with a small desk, a twin bed and private bathroom. The room itself was fine, however there was no built-in lobby bar, which was a little misleading in the ad. There is, however, a pretty expensive Italian restaurant located adjacent to the hotel that you’re able to access through an interior door. If you’re just needing a place to stay to catch an early train, this will do the job just fine.

The hotel's amenities and cleanliness was very good, the reason for the poor rating is that the room was very cold and the central heating system was not enough for it, though they changed me to another room but still the same. I couldn't sleep properly. The bathroom was almost impossible to use because of the cold temperature, it was as if you are entering a freezer.
