Looks like a renovation in progress. The painting and caulking could use a more refined hand, and this mainly is an esthetic issue in the bathroom. It was clean and upgraded from its Motel 6 origins! I would stay here again on a cross-country trek.

As with many hotels in the transition stages of ownership, there were good things and not so shiny things. The facilities are well used and unfortunately not that well maintained- under previous management?. The bones are solid and the remodeling is underway, the ice machine was down- ice was available at the neighboring facility (same owners apparently So the exterior is a bit rough, the room was in good shape, the only knocks were the premium price , and of course housekeeping was a bit lacking - lots of dust under the beds. Quiet location, not a great value at this stage.

Keep in mind this place is remodeling ( may have been a motel 6 ) but it’s changed companies. The front desk staff does their best and we’re very sweet. The manager with the adorable baby works her rear off. My only issue was the shower which needed a good bleach and grout cleaning. I used my flip flops just in case. For one night it’s acceptable but that’s it. Don’t expect any breakfast besides a few fruits and cereal but the surrounding places have good options. I wish them well because they are really trying to renovate and elevate the place.
