Cromwell Harbor is the absolute perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor. It is a very quaint and cute motel tucked about a half mile out of downtown. The parking is very easy and the walk into downtown is even easier. There is even a creek next to the property. I would highly recommend!

The place was simply Perfect. Impeccably clean and comfortable. But most of all, the Manager Joy, was super nice, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I commented to Joy that this place should not be called a “motel” because it is much nicer and cleaner than most 5-star hotels I have stayed in.

The owner works very hard to maintain the property. The exterior appears to have had an upgrade. The room on the 2 nd floor ( no elevator) was very spartan. A wood table, 2 pull up wood chairs , an old dresser Circa mid 70s , the heat ing unit was extremely load and we needed to shut it off during the night because of the noise. and old bed linens. The room was clean but so lacking in comfort. There is a small dorm like fridge, micro and Mr Coffee no continental breakfast available on site or exercise room . It is a clean property but lacks a sense of comfort and ease .
