The location is nice, on a 15min walking distance from the airport. The check-in went well, I got all the required information by SMS on my phone. So far the good part, the bad part is that the building is old, the room I had was very noisy, and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The bed linen were dirty, the bed itself was old and it felt like you were sleeping in a 'hole' in the bed. The floor was sticky, the remote of the TV was véry filthy, basically I was looking forward checking out again. Luckily I only stayed for one night. Unfortunately this was the only place that had vacancy on my night on stay and the next cheapest place charged almost 4-5 times as much for a night... If you are in for just one night, perhaps stay at the airport or find a hotel in the city. I would not recommend this hostel.

3rd stay at Forenom Hostel Vantaa Airport. It is a very good hostel. Yes the single room is small but the room and bedding were clean, as were the showers and toilets. It’s a 10 minute walk from the airport. Well lit main roads so felt safe walking from my late night arrival and back to my early morning departure. Key code arrived before checkin time via email and text. Entry keypad for building has been moved from the side wall to the centre of the front door so can’t miss it now. For the price I paid, this is value for money accommodation and I’ll stay here again.

The room was incredibly stuffy and too warm with no ventilation system, and only one of the three windows would open to let in some air. The curtains didn’t cover the windows, so there was far too much light coming in the morning, and noise from the road because the window was open.

I walked to the hostel at nighttime, and without knowing the exact location I would still be walking around. Not a single sign on the way.. Didn't expect much of the place due to the cost, didn't get less ;)

Underrated and pretty convenient!

Clean and organized budget hostel! Many restrooms, showers and kitchens throughout different levels. In room microwave, coffee machine, electric hot water kettle, mini fridge, tv and cabinets for your stuff. Literally 15 mins of walking from / to Vantaa Airport terminal. Pedestrian walkway with directing signs. Timely communication with property access info from the host. Definitely will consider in the future. Thanks!

Welcome to your personal Gulag !

Not really. Making your own bed, then a room which is like 8m2? Not one sign on the street. Mega cold and in an old office building? Absolutely never again. The bed is 80cm x 1.80 cm. That’s how I imagine a prison cell.

Simple single room

Very simple accommodation. A bit far from the airport, but it's still possible to walk to the hostel also with a bigger luggage. Getting inside the building was a bit confusing, because at the entrance there were at least three different keypads for different pin codes. The room was clean but a bit old-fashioned and not very comfortable. My room also smelled like an old bar, clearly some customers had been smoking inside. (I couldn't complain about it though, because I arrived in the middle of the night and needed to sleep.)

Trouble getting my access code

I booked the room 2 hours before arriving, and I had not received code by text or email how to access Forenom. Had to call them and spent 15 minutes in middle of the night on how to send them passport picture and self portrait before I received access code. Nice and quiet apart from fire alarm @9 am,, easy 12 minutes walk from airport
