We had a lovely time! Our room was very nice, as were the pool and hot springs. We booked one of the tours through the hotel and loved it! The only downside was the restaurant, which had very limited options for vegetarians and slow service.

A place to relax.

Staff extremely nice, they went out of their wy to make us feel like home, good place to relax. Hot springs are not natural, towels need to be updated they were torn, hotel it is very far away from tourists places, a car is needed to drive around . Restaurant food it is not that good and expensive.

Nature retreat and quiet atmosphere

The property is amazing for the nature lover. It’s a bit remote so no food options other than their restaurant around. Rooms are mediocre (cabin like). The staff is really nice and hard working. The thermal pool is lukewarm temperature not really hot.

Toller Garten, alles so schön grün. Man kann Tiere beobachten wie z. B. Faultiere, Leguane, verschiedene Vögel. Das Essen im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet. Die heißen Quellen waren am 1. Nachmittag anfangs leider nicht warm und nicht alle gefüllt. Abends konnten wir sie aber dann gut nutzen. Am 2. Tag hat es viel geregnet. Es hat uns in allem sehr gefallen. Es war ein toller Serbice. Uns wurden auch Tiere gezeigt und virl erklrt.leleider nicht

A MUST experience. Staying in the treehouse is unique without giving up comfort, the surrounding area is lush and filled with wildlife, the restaurant serves good food. Doing the afternoon tour with Victor was great, especially his knowledge of plants, animals, birds and love of gardening for the restaurant.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Heliconias recently. Me and my two best friends came to celebrate my 50th birthday and we can't say enough good things about this hotel, the staff and the exceptional service. From the moment we arrived we were taken care of by Diego and Alejandro. Check in was seamless, the rooms were clean and well equipped, the breakfast was scrumptious and believe me when I say this was the best breakfast of our entire week in Costa Rica. The service was impeccable. Alejandro took care of booking all of our excursions and made sure we felt at home. The owner Omar made the effort to welcome us to the hotel and provided fresh coconut water for us at the pool. Diego went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable with our stay. This hotel is different. It is quiet, peaceful, surrounded by natural beauty and you feel at home. I would definitely come back here next time I am in Costa Rica. Thank you for making our stay very memorable and special.

Great Location

Overall we enjoyed our time at this place. Unfortunately, perhaps due to off season, we did not find several places around the resort closed, for example bar at the pool. There were construction going on around the resort, which also seemed unsightly. Cleaning service was not that great. Our room was not cleaned properly and we could find dirt and hair balls in the washroom and around the room. This was disappointing. Washroom could use some shelves to place our shampoo and stuff, we had place all that on the floor. Front office staff was very helpful and totally took care of us and for that we are grateful. Breakfast was included, but it was not that much. But the staff and management was very kind and allow us to orders extra portion and that was greatly appreciated. All in all, it is a good resort and I am sure that in main tourist season they would be much better in their ambiance and other services. Thank you for making our stay and memorable one. My family did have a very good time.

Slice of Paradise

Beautiful family run resort . We stayed in the Deluxe Treehouse and it was wonderful up in the treetops! Hot springs were perfect on the property within walking distance . Restaurant was under roof open air and the food was delicious . The owner and his family were so friendly. J was a great server and told us a lot about the animals and ,fauna Such a wonderful Costa Rican slice of paradise !Thank you for sharing your property with us !
