The lady at check-in did not know what she was doing and it took way too long to check in. They were playing rap music in another language with historic stuff all around the hotel which seemed totally off. The property and our room needs some upkeep and updates terribly. It's sad they have let this place and this staff ruin a property that has so much history and potential.

The Tyler house was great. It was clean and comfortable. The outdoor fire pit was a fun surprise. The kitchen had enough cookware and dishes. The only thing I would have possibly added was more living room seating but using the dining chairs made up for that. The staff was extremely kind.
