This is my second stay here. The first time was excellent, so I was very happy to be back. The hotel is beautifully redone, and the rooms are very cute and nautical. The jet bathtub is a very nice feature in the bathroom. The problem I had this time was the heat in our room. It would not turn off despite the thermostat being turned to off. It was so hot that we had the window wide open, but this did not help. Considering that check in is a late 4pm, sleeping there is really the bulk of what I'm rating. I tried responding to the hotel's automated text message system that asked how my stay was, but I have not gotten any reply.

Lovely room with a comfortable bed and Roku access to watch TV on a rainy morning prior to our departure for Salem tours. Breakfast healthy options of three kinds of granola, two kinds of yogurt, variety fruit cup and a variety of breads and muffins… coffee tea or water. Plenty of parking and a short drive to a variety of restaurants. Salem is only a 10-15 minute drive away

The staff was pleasant. The room was passable. Understanding that it was a hotel room near Salem near peak Halloween activities, I get that things are more expensive, so that is on us. I don't feel the room was anywhere near worth the cost associated with it.
