Wouldn’t let us store our bags at check out and told us to use a storage company which we could not find they said 5 minutes away but it was way further. Super loud on the evening , pictures of bar and lobby are not the same as the hotel looks completely different.

Don't be put off by the low scores or poor reviews this is low budget hotel and offers good value for money. It basic but effective and I would stay there again.

This night away was a spur of the moment but to say it was the best unplanned trip, the hotel was amazingly comfortable with all mod cons in a small hotel

Good place to rest your head

Does what it says on the tin. Very quick check-in and checkout, comfortable bed and great location. Earplugs provided as it's situated over a pub, but that just made it better for me.

2/10 Poor

We had a very disappointing experience with the staff at the Camden Hotel. When we accidentally arrived a week early for our reservation, they were extremely unhelpful in resolving the issue. Despite explaining the situation in person, we were not offered any form of credit or refund. Ultimately, we didn’t even end up using our stay, and the lack of flexibility or support from the hotel was frustrating and disappointing.

My first trip awy

Hotel was great i booked it online and paid But when i checked in they said i had not paid But now iam home and checked my cards i paid twice but on different cards iv not had a response as yet Hotel was great It was my fisrt little hoilday since 1998 This has made me so upset I do hope i get a refund from one of my cards It could be a genuine mistake on there side Am going to Dublin again later on in the year and woud stay there again if i get a refund for being charged twice

Good hotel for a one night stay or if you out for the night and need a cheap and convenient place to stay. The noise from the Camden bar will keep you up unless you have earplugs packed. The staff are fantastic and the hotel is spotless - it’s also convenient to surrounding areas and central Dublin. I would stay again but will definitely bring my own earplugs.

Perfect for one night. Close to city center, although there was a murder on Camden street that night. Heard the sirin and saw the police cars and read it the next day in the papers…otherwise great friendly staff and nice clean room.

The staff was nice and courteous. Warming this is over a bar/club. But it was not too noisy that we couldn't sleep. They did provide ear plugs.

Location is amazing, very centra and convenient. Staff very friendly. Hotel is over top of a dance club. They provide headphones- you will need them. No ac was a huge down fall
Carl Janice, 3-night trip

Surrounded by bars/clubs on all sides. Super noisy until 3am. Don’t plan on getting any sleep.

Area was perfect! And hotel was cleanliness was faultless. Only concern was we had someone try to enter our room when one of our friends was on her own in there late at night. When we returned back early hours one morning our door was open. Nothing gone, but very concerning.

The sounds from the nightclub can be a little excessive on weekends .. be prepared to use earplugs at times.as can sound like white noise then Staff were helpful and accomidating special requests such as extra pillows and fan.was no problem Would recommend, good location

Previous reviews indicated music was loud. After realizing room was right over the bar and with no AC those reviews do not give the totality of the music. As if I was sleeping in the bar, great music but not for people going to bed early.

Hotels.com let us down - deceitful advert - awful!

Room inside OK - but noise level extremely loud until 2 a.m. in the morning - impossible to sleep there. Hotel.com should not have such a place on their books without major warnings or alerts - not even ear plugs could help. Very bad experience - night club surrounds room and has major events with hundreds of attendees and live bands and the room has no sound-proofing at all (some cheap plastic on windows) and they charged us £140+ for a one-night stay and only mentions night club after you have paid - followed by an addendum of - NO RFUNDS!
Terry, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Truly horrific experience. Need to knows: - no lock box - bar beside hotel that played music until 4am - not the best neighborhood - expensive for what it was

Looks like it was recently refurbished, nice room, comfy bed and modern bathroom. Said on Expedia that there is luggage storage however we were unable to store our luggage at the hotel after our checkout for a couple of hours and had to store elsewhere for a (cheap) cost so that needs to be amended on the site. Didn’t ruin our stay, 15 minute walk to Temple Bar area, tesco express a couple minutes walk away in both directions and loads of nice restaurants and bars.
Sophie, 3-night trip

I did not get any sleep until the early hours of the morning due to the noise and the room was extremely hot. Check out was 11am which was a struggle due to no sleep

Has many poor reviews. This is not a high end chain. This is an affordable, great location, clean, nice hotel. We had an even # room and no issue with noise. We were asleep about 10:30p for 2 nights without problem. 3 adults in a comfortable 3 bed room. Oversized window that opened. Clean bedding and bathroom. Seemed like new carpet. Happy for price and nice check in person.

If you're wanting to party late at the bars

The hotel is an old theater converted to a hotel. It is clean and in good repair. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only complaints were due to the fact that it literally sits on top of one bar and is surrounded by others. With no air conditioning in the room, we had to leave the window open and the music was extremely loud, so we didn’t get to sleep until 3:00 am on Friday and Saturday. We should have had a clue when we saw earplugs above all of the beds.

This hotel is ok for an overnight stay.we stayed two nights. Some of the fixtures need a bit of tlc. The window blind didnt work and our friends window was screwed shut so they couldnt open it, making the room very hot. The staff are all helpful. The hotel clean. Thea area is a busy main road and a club next door. Our room was at the back with the beer garden tothe club below.
