Beautiful boutique hotel the staff was so accommodating and friendly. The rooms are small but comfortable. I love the artistic design of the bathroom also. Get a higher floor and the views are magnificent. The only drawback was it’s proximity to the light rail.

I learned after staying in Grenoble that it’s not a good city. I was harassed by numerous men to the point hotel staff had to intervene . I left this hotel because of its poor room design.( very poor lighting in bathroom, very bad drainage in the shower, broken coffee maker, bad electrical system.)

Style over substance......

A very strange room design. You have to walk through the shower to use toilet or sink so unable to not tread in wet after a shower. Toilet is on view for rest of room especially for someone still in bed so no privacy. Room is very very small. Hard mattress. Could hear traffic all night and local skateboard park. Main reception area is large and friendly staff. Can help yourself to coffee etc. Parking is a short walk to public car park. It is ok for 1 night but anyone who has marked as 10/10 can't have stayed in anything other than a hostel before.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. First couple nights were so cold and the heater was not working in the room. It was so cold in the room and we couldn't sleep becasue of cold, then the person who was trying to repair the heater brought us a space heater.We use it following nights. The room was was spacious but very poorly designed. There were no cabinets or drawers. Half of the room was empty. We had to keep everything in our luggages and that was not easy. The room was not properly cleaned, especially the floors were not properly vacuumed. There was left over dirt and trash on the floor from the previous guest, coke lids, hair, paper/napkin pieces. Those things were never cleaned up during our stay. The most annoying part was ,although we paid extra for breakfast to be included everyday, on the day we were leaving at 7:30am for the train, the staff didn't let us to take a banana and cup of coffee along with us. I think that was the most bothering part of the overall stay.

A fantastically nice hotel with a fantastic service-oriented staff, with one important exception. Unfortunately, the breakfast service lowers the overall rating considerably. You pay extra for breakfast. Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 10:00. We arrived at the breakfast room at 08:15. By then the bacon and scrambled eggs were already gone. The breakfast staff apologized and said unfortunately there were no more. At 08:30 the small plastic jars of yogurt were gone and at 08:45 the croissants were gone, as well as most of the bread. We waited for refills for more than 15 minutes but nothing came. There was chatter and laughter from the kitchen as we left. There was too little of everything, refills were too slow or absent altogether and the breakfast staff were disinterested in their work and provided no service. It pissed me off and I left in a bad mood. Not a great way to start your day!!

I like the free cake & coffee offers in the huge lounge of Okko. There was a bulb of a lamp not functioning in my room. After telling it to the reception people in the afternoon it got changed the next day. The price-tag for OKKO Hotel on ebookers is misleading. They tell first that the price per night is about 75 Euro. But later, when clicking forward, you see that they charge additional more than Euro 30 for the night. Seems to be an unfair declaration to me.

Renovation and maintenance required

The hotel rooms need to be renovated. The heading section of the bed and the lounge in the corner are made of synthetic leather, but this is completely worn and looks shabby. May bedclothes had holes as well. In a room that has the highest category, I would expect a coffee maker or a kettle and a bottle of water at least. The room was just larger than the regular room I had before. The water in the shower did not drain quickly. Here maintenance would help as well.

Très bien !

Premier séjour dans cet hôtel et nous reviendrons car nous avons été agréablement surpris ! Bien placé dans le centre de Grenoble. Grande chambre moderne et propre, au calme malgré le fait qu’elle donnait sur une intersection de rues assez fréquentées. Le seul point négatif était le manque d’intimité dans la salle de bain car des vitres et des panneaux de bois horizontaux sont mis à la place de murs pour la séparation avec la chambre. Petit-déjeuner bon (mais cher ! 19€ !). Le petit plus que je n’ai jamais vu dans aucun autre hôtel est un système de snacking gratuit toute la journée pour les clients de l’hôtel (noix, fruits, boissons, biscuits…) La salle pour le petit-déjeuner est grande, moderne, calme et bien décorée. Il y a une terrasse au calme du côté du petit parc. Personnel sympathique et les chambres sont faites tous les jours (même le 1er mai !)
