Beautiful hotel right in the centre of Almeria. Room was lovely, tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff all very welcoming. I was only 1 night for business but enjoyed my stay.

Grand room, very well cleaned although maintainance could be improved - for example tile replacement handiwork leaves a lot to be desired. Very large and comfortable bed. Small in room fridge was great. Good quality pod coffee machine in the room, but I've never been charged for in room coffee in a 4 star hotel before. Breakfast was good but no option to book with room, so had to pay €12 pp per day, about 80% of buffet/menu items were available. Staff friendly and polite. Lovely building, fantastic location. Stayed in Feb 2026, as with most things in the city during off peak season, availability and opening hours varied without notice. For example the pool cocktail bar wasn't open at all the nights we were there (Sat-Tues), but other venues elsewhere were. If you are a light sleeper be aware that the catedral bells sound each quarter and on the hour every hour 08:00-00:00.

Amazing 14 night stay

The hotel was beautiful. The staff couldn't do enough to make your stay perfect. The pool upstairs was a real delight small but adequate. The roof top at night was beautiful. In the old quarter and great access. Highly recommend this hotel . You get used to the charming bells .

Good but disappointing

The hotel is in a great location and has some lovely facilities, such as the roof top bar and pool, cool bar downstairs and restaurant. We had a junior suite in the original part of the building, the condition of the room for the cost was disappointing. The toilet wasnt attached to the wall so when sat on it banged, not good in the middle of the night, the paint was peeling off the bathroom ceiling, and overall it was tired. The shower was powerful and clean. For the price of the room having to pay for even a small bottle of water or a hot drink in room we felt was cheeky! The staff were great and very friendly.
