If you want seclusion, a tropical feel, an extremely friendly and responsive staff, an incredibly clean room(s) and reasonable pricing then this is the place for you. We haven't stayed anywhere else on San Pedro Island, but still believe this has to be the best place there. We just loved it and it is the only place we will stay when we go back.

The nature walk was so incredible and unique - our entire family loved it. This property is an absolute gem. There is such pride in the staff in keeping the hotel beautiful and immaculate and the service was exceptional. The location in San Pedro can’t be beat and great restaurants are so easy to get to. There are many close groceries for you to pick up certain items if needed. We had 2BR, 2BATH apartment. It was very clean and nice. It was pretty dark and we had to use lights even during a day. We get some noise from the unit above. I recommend to get the upstairs unit, it will be quiet and maybe more daylight. Xanadu has nice small heated pool and jacuzzi. The beach is not good for swimming - typical for the 95% of the whole area. The only real beach is Secret Beach 1 hr. away by golf cart or water taxi. No restaurant in Xanadu, just a bar.
