Maria and her staff were amazing. They were there to answer all our questions and gave us ideas of things to do. Our breakfast each morning was exceptional and we loved our talks with John. I would highly recommend this resort. One thing you need to know is there are a lot of stairs. We had 100 from our room up to the walkway where the restaurants and shops were. But well worth the climb!

Not worth it...

Musty smell in the bathroom, wifi doesn't work in the room but it does work outside and is very slow. infinity pool shown on website is not for common use, only for private high end rooms. hotel staff was helpful and nice but otherwise it's not worth it. Use of spa is not free either.

Not recommended

The hotel is supposed to be five star hotel. Unfortunstely it didn’t feel that a 5star hotel at all. The bathroom smells so that it’s almost impossible to shower in it. The room was nice and beautiful. The breakfast was prepared with a very low quality. In this case the quality was replaced with quantity, which made it even worse. The service of the Greeks was very poor. Fortunately they had some Albanians helping them deliver even a good service. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this hotel to another person.

The property says it is 5 star and luxury. It is most definitely NOT that. I was expecting a lovely hotel room with beautiful touches but it was old and had outdated elements the lighting was poor and somethings like the mirrors were chipping and the sheets and bed was uncomfortable. The view was lovely however and the hot tub nice. As well as the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Also the breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is really more of 3.5 star (the kindness of the staff tipping the scale).

Overall, my experience was wonderful! The views were breathtaking, the cave hot tub with sea views from the room was incredible. The hotel is actually in the mountain rock and you walk down stairs into the hotel to access reception, the spa, rooms, restaurants, etc. I really enjoyed the spa experience, the massage was excellent! There are not many spas in Santorini. The staff was knowledgeable and helped make the visit memorable. The Greek Wedding show is a must see! Oh and the sunset view from Sunset Bar is amazing and they offer live music. Food is pricey though. Here’s what I didn’t like. Construction prevented direct access to hotel. So, I had to walk up a steep hill to get there. The bellhop did get my bags. There’s no elevator which means a lot of walking up and down stairs to get to everything on the property. Inside the room the towels were hard and crunchy. The towels exfoliated my skin with each use. The motorized water pump in the hot tub kept stopping causing the maintenance man to come daily. The restaurant’s service was slow and the food was mediocre. Food was double the price too. Food at the little restaurants on the walking path into the villages was way better and cheaper. Also, I couldn’t see the sunset from my room or any spot at the hotel. The sun set to the east, so I had to go next door to the Sunset Bar to see it. Some excursions offered by the hotel is double the price that’s offered online. Do your research before purchasing tickets.

Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour ces merveilleux souvenirs en amoureux. Nous repartons le cœur rempli de gratitude. Petite frustration néanmoins de voir les prix chuter quelques semaines avant notre arrivée. Avec le même budget, nous aurions pu profiter d’une suite encore plus exceptionnelle.
