In the middle of several fells

The location is excellent in the middle of several fells. Good hiking trails and scenic walking trails (and cross-country skiing tracks in winter) start from the hotel. The restaurant of the hotel is one of the best in Lapland. The breakfast buffet is excellent, too. It also includes local specialties, e.g. spruce shoot fruitie, lingonberry vanilla smoothie and cloudberry jam. The log building is historical (built in 1948) but unfortunately the rooms need renovation. They are quite cozy but many small details are worn out. Sleep quality was excellent. I didn't hear any noise except the sound of water in the pipes. My bathroom was very small. This hotel is excellent if you are searching for a down-to-earth wilderness hotel but don't expect any luxury accommodation.

Hotell Palass Lapland lå fint til ute i villmarka i Nasjonalparken, men været var dårlig, regn, tåke og kaldt. Måtte bytte rom, da TV ikke virket. Det er EM i friidrett. Toalettrommet var lite og trangt, da hotellet var av eldre dato. Dusj sammen med sauna i underetasjen.

Huoneet kaipaisivat hieman freesausta. Valitsin hotellin ketjun aamiaisen sekä kyseisen hotellin sijainnin vuoksi. Molemmat erinomaisia! Syön gluteenitonta, maidotonta ja kananmunatonta ruokaa ja minua palveltiin erinomaisesti! Sain vatsan täyteen aamiaiselle lounaalla, päivälliselle ja iltapalalla ongelmitta. Sijainti on optimaalinen Hetta-Pallas -vaelluksen kannalta. Henkilökunta avusti tarpeellisten lisäpalveluiden kanssa.

Förvånansvärt gammal och sliten inredning. Såg ut som man klev in i 70-talet och inte på ett bra sätt. Standarden långt under förväntan för det pris vi betalade. Vi betalade extra för att ha ett ”hundrum”… vet inte om hotellet vet att även människor ska dela rum med hunden. Omgivningen är fantastisk men det återspeglas inte i hotellets interiör.

Sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage.Personal sehr aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen.Frühstück war auch gut. Ich finde das auch mit den Rentieren vor dem Hotel richtig schön.Wanderwege ab dem Hotel sind gut ausgeschildert.

Rauhallinen sijainti suoraan Pallastunturin juurella: reittivaihtoehtoja tunturiin heti hotellin pihalta! Majoituttu syyskuussa 2024 lomalla. Tilavat huoneet. Huoneet hieman ikääntyneet, mutta siistit ja rauhalliset ja ajoivat asiansa oikein hyvin! Mukavat sängyt. Ravintola ylitti odotukset: todella hyvä ruoka ja palvelu, runsas aamiainen (iso suositus puurolle!) - iso kiitos ja suositus! Ilmaiset opaspalvelut mukava plussa. Pääasiassa patikoitiin omaan tahtiin, mutta esim. iltakävely oppaan johdolla tunturin juurelle katsomaan revontulia oli kiva lisä! Myös iltaisin vaihtelevaa pientä ohjelmaa oppaiden johdolla (esim. kaitafilmit Pallaksen historiasta olivat kiva). Valittaisiin majapaikaksi ehdottomasti uudestaankin!
