Overall we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in one of the cabins and loved being steps away from the water. The room has a large window with a great view of the ocean, but on the flip side anyone walking by to go down to the beach has a great view of your room. (The hotel has very few rooms, so not many people pass by, but you don’t want to be changing with the curtains open if they do!) The room had a good amount of storage space but in the bathroom the counter space is almost none due to the double sinks. There was also little room between the toilet and the counter. The shower was odd in that there is no door or curtain, and you have to go up a couple of steps. The hotel offers a transfer from the airport for a fee, which we’d set up, but when we arrived at the airport there was no one to pick us up. We ended up getting a taxi on our own which turned out to be cheaper. The biggest surprise for us was finding out that the hotel is right near the airport and planes fly right overhead when they’re landing. Luckily there were no planes during the night, so we were able to hear the waves from the ocean. We found the staff were very friendly and always happy to help, whether it was a needing an outlet adapter or arranging a car rental at the last minute. The highlight was the snorkeling! With the convenience of being right by the ocean, we’d snorkel multiple times a day and even saw a sea turtle two days in a row! As long as you’re aware of the planes overhead, I’d recommend here.
