Nicht für Familien geeignet, außer Lärm und Nacht-Parties stören Sie nicht. Sie sollten UNBEDINGT englisch sprechen, wenn Sie Apartments buchen da Sie u.a. Anleitungen, wie der Schlüssel zu bekommen ist, auf englisch sind.

Noisy neighbours in 11c (we have been 11d) from the same landlord/apartment block and the landlord/"city landmark" owner says it is "not his fault". That noise definitely isn't my fault, is it dear owner (Marian?), is it?! Happened both nights that the other people partied well after 23:00/11pm and i had to send messages to the owner to stop it, after our four year old woke up. Beside that there have been sms and email communications mostly one sided and their "house rules" claim "NO NOISE AFTER 21.00/9PM". So that is something the owner is responsible for, isn't he? So it is his fault after all. Beside that i expect him to care for +200EUR/night.
So the house rules are useless if nobody feels responsible for them, especially not the person who rents the apartment out.
Beside that the area isn't for families, if you like junkies and weird people just turn to "Hallesches Tor", which is closer then the advertised "Checkpoint Charlie".
The apartment was big/huge and the rooms clean, so that is a plus point.
The initial procedure to get the actual apartment keys was very complicated and frustrating.
If you like partying and you are in groups of 4-8 people, this one might be for you. For everybody else, don't book it.
