The security at the hotel is very good, there is always someone in the guard house at the main gate and the side gate. The street outside the hotel have very nice cafe and local food. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly.

This an extended stay of another 4 nights continuously from the first 6 nights so altogether 10 nights stays at Harmoni Suites because I’m very satisfied and happy with this hotel and I decided to stay longer. Lobby manager Miko, receptionist Yulia and Nano all of them are always there to help with their knowledge and willing to do whatever they can to make guests comfortable. Over this hotel is great and good for holidays short or long term. Easy access to shopping mall quiet environment and most importantly is safe. I’ll definitely comeback again soon and this will be my favorite Batam hotel overall. Great place of stay and again I would give a two thumbs up for Harmoni Suites Hotel.

While the location is good (just a 5 min walk to Nagoya Hill mall), the hotel needs a good refurbishing. The interior has shown much age, the doors cannot close properly. Most crucially, the water is not clean (frequent yellow/brown water is seen from taps) and needs to let it run and flush away before being safe to use.

Stayed in a suite room. Staff were courteous and location is walking distance to Nagoya shopping mall. Shortfall was lack of hand soap at the basin. None at the kitchen and the other toilet. Also TV remote control had difficulty in pressing, and no YouTube. Time to upgrade. Will be staying again from 31 Dec - 4 Jan. Hope to see improvement. Overall still better value vs homestay for the price paid.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Nagoya shopping center is 10 minutes away on foot, and Batam Mega Mall and the wet market are both 15-20 minutes away. It would have been nicer if the toilet had been renovated a little. The bed is comfortable and I had a restful sleep in the lovely bed.

Hotel conditions is great and location is also good, outside main entrance of hotel there was a a lot of food stores and not far away just a few minutes walk there is a Starbuck and the main road next to the hotel opposite there’s even more shops and restaurants. There’s an exit behind the hotel’s rear gate that can cross to opposite and Nagoya Hill shopping is right behind which is convenient. Hotel is very quiet and safe. I must mention specifically about all the hotel staff is great and friendly. Receptionist Yulia and Nano is always willing to help with all my requests and they’re easy understanding which I’m very satisfied with both of them. Lastly I must praised the lobby manager Miko, he is always there to help me and will to fulfill all my requests within his range, he’s very helpful and capable, easy in understanding me and reacting very, his English is also good and I would like to give him a 5 stars. Overall this hotel is remarkable and I have a lovely and enjoyable 6 days stay and I’ll definitely comeback again whenever I travel to Batam as this hotel now is my overall favourite hotel. Best and Great hotel for me.

I wasn't expecting much but was still disappointed

I don't understand the many positive reviews here... I wasn't expecting much from the hotel, but I was still disappointed by the place. It is pretty rundown and desperately needs a facelift. Everything screamed "old", the DVD collection in the lobby could be an interesting quirky touch but in context they just dated the place. Everywhere was dark - the lobby, the restaurant, the room. The room had a slightly damp odour, the coffee facility in the room had probably not been changed for months, the water ran brown indicating it hadn't been run for a long time. None of these things were a disaster but they don't exactly deliver joy! Oh, and the electric went out for about an hour on my first morning. On the plus side, the staff were reasonable and friendly, and I got a decent omelette for breakfast.
