No one in the office. Had to phone then got cut off. Called a cell. Male answered unprofessional. Came to office in rough looking attire. Showed us the room. OLD OLD, clean bed and bathroom but need to detail the cleaning a lot better. yucky stuff on shower door, window sills dirty with dead flies, doors dirty and just about anything you would touch needs cleaning. Outside of the room was a large ashtray that need to be emptied. The sidewalk and area needs sweeping of cigarette butts etc. Will not stay there again. Get what you pay for.!!!

Great rooms, great location.

We were pleasantly surprised that the room was updated recently. When we drove in I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but when we walked into the room it all looked very nice. It seemed as if they had just replaced the flooring and bed. It wasn't anything exceptional but the modern look was a nice surprise since the outside looks like a fairly standard motel. They had also recently renovated the shower, which has was a decent size and accommodating to a guy of my height of 6'4", which is unusual! The hotel is central to St. Paul which was nice, although we were just passing through. If I ever had to stay in St. Paul again, I would definitely stay here again. We accidentally locked our keys in our room first thing and the hotel staff was more than happy to help us out. They also remembered the reason for our stay as well as our names the next morning, which was a nice gesture. The only thing that would keep me from coming back was the clanging from the baseboard heaters. On the thermostat was a note that asked people not to turn the heat below 20 degrees, but if the heat was on it was constantly making loud clanging noises from all sides of the room, so we decided to turn the heat down. After that the noise stopped and we slept much better.

As motels go, it's of excellent value. While there's no perks like breakfast, it has a warm bed, good water pressure and clean. If all you need is that while visiting St Paul, this is a good spot to be, especially as it's a short walking distance to the UFO landing pad while youre waiting to be picked up on the next trip to Alpha Centauri

It was a fine proerty to stay for a few nights while we were in town. Only downside was the air conditioner didn't work and it was 30 degrees outside. Also the outlet in the bathroom didn't work. But as just a room for a few nights it was definitely suitable. It was clean and thank goodness there was no carpet!
