Great location for exploring New Forest area. Family friendly. Staff were nowhere to be seen during dining hours and while we were walking around the hotel during our stay? Service was poor during our meals. The building is beautiful but could use a major uplift in the form of fresh paint - all doors were dirty and scuffed. And all the furniture was well past its used by date, couches and chairs all lol tired and we’re sinking. Some money could be spent on making the interior match the exterior as it’s so beautiful!

We had a lovely stay at Bartley lodge. Beautiful manor house on lovely grounds. Good value and good size family rooms. We loved that the pool had long opening hours. We had dinner onsite one night which was delicious and kids menu too.

The hotel got the basics right. I booked this hotel because of the pool. Which on both days was shut. The rooms were clean and well kept. Food was aimed for a 5 star palte, but i would give it 3. Beautiful gardens and very friendly and helpful staff.
