Cracking building, zero atmosphere

Stunning building aptly named. The Hotel is run as a B &B and because of that all the guests dine out on an evening, nobody comes back for a nightcap, because the bar closes at 9P.M. So if you happen to be in the Hotel on an evening expect to be Billy no mates!!!!

The stay was cool but compared to the outside the interior felt bare. Would love to talk to you about how to improve it as I design museums and historical interiors. A few key things in the common spaces would make the place much more memorable and less (in a negative way) dated. We can switch it to make it dated in the best of ways.

Very disappointing stay. Looks and photos are fab. But internally hotel was empty of staff. No bar or restaurant ! Dead in evening! Hotel has had better days. Now underloved and seems to be dying. Breakfast was good with lovely staff in the morning. Was expensive, poor value as atmosphere was zero.
