Room stunk, toilet lid broke, dirty bathtub, sheet on one bed was dirty, floors were not swept, TV remote didn't work.

The bed was clean, but the bathroom had piles of dirt and a dead bug in the corners of the floor, and molds in the corners of the tub. There was no breakfast to speak of and someone was asleep on the couch in the dining area. The pool was dusgusting - Half full and covered in green slime.

The room seemed clean-beds were fine , but bathtub was stained. Refrigerators were thick with ice-in both rooms. One room fridge door did not close b/c of frost . No ice for our cooler-no sign on the broken ice machine near our room(ice in office)
Our room was at the end of a outside hall that met up with an alley-noise from freeway all night. Parking was close but very tight.

The staff was very nice, bit the room was dirty. I was a woman alone there with my dog. The door was difficult to latch and the extra flip lock/ door stopper was broken off. There was a sofa in the room that ibpushed over to block the door for extra security. Under that sofa was piles and piles of dead bugs and crumbs and spills. I felt like I needed the extra block because of the rowdy crowd that was in the parking lot and in many rooms near me. The bathtub was also too dirty to use.

This is the best place in the entire area. I travel all over the USA, including the Panhandle and all of Texas, and this place is perfect. Some people look at this place and think it's not good, but those of us who know better see its value.

The older lady we encountered as the clerk etc. should NOT be in the hospitality business. If not for her sour attitude, I’d have rated our stay as good to excellent.

Older hotel but clean. Nice to see someone keeping the classics alive on those long texas highways on a road trip. Parking was tight parked next door small car no problem. Dogs allowed
