Nice place!

Very nice location, furnishings- super nice staff, walkable to restaurants, easy check out. Would have been perfect if the stomping people upstairs and the loud talkers next door had let us sleep, but guess that's Saturday night in a college town ;)

Usually never leave reviews but staff was so friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and spacious. Customer service was beyond great. Accidentally locked ourselves out close to midnight and was helped by staff immediately. Great room for great price!

Cute motel

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Sunbeam. It was clean and quiet. The air conditioning worked great and kept our room cool. The shower had great water pressure and was clean. The bed was comfortable as well. We will definitely be staying at the Sunbeam again because of the price and condition of the property.

Nice, clean room

I had a single room and it would have been a bit cramped for 2 people but perfect for me. Very clean, good bed, hot shower, lots of towels. I would certainly return.

Even though I had to check in quite late, Jerry’s communication ensured that I was able to retrieve my room key and get into my room safely. The room itself was nice and quiet, and I was able to settle in comfortably.

Sunbeam Hotel near the Heart of SLO and Cal-Poly🤗

Room was nicely furnished, bed was comfortable, looks like they are upgrading the property as they have a lovely new office. Quiet, safe, owner was very friendly and when I left some of my jewelry he immediately texted me to let me know! Smaller, unique hotel, bathroom was rather small but had a wonderful showerhead and nice shampoo and bodywash dispensers. Larger refrigerator, nice microwave and coffee maker as well. Great price for what can be a very expensive area to find a hotel room in. Great place to stay when you are in SLO!!!

Small, basic room. Clean, well-lit. all appliances, heater/AC worked perfectly. Nice hot water in shower with adequate pressure. There is some traffic noise into late evening,. But otherwise a great option to crash for a night without busting your wallet!
