Access to the beach was amazing!!! Check in was easy. Rooms are dated and could use some serious updating but there were no bugs. Doors need to be replaced. Floors in the rooms needed mopping very badly.

It’s older property but was very clean rooms. . We brought our dog . It’s truly on the beach with side view .. location is great public access how has a park with showers deck to go out to the beach .air conditioning great but loud but it covers outside noises .. Would stay again

When we arrived someone else was in our room. there is no one there on site. They gave us a code and someone else was in there. They gave us another room. No one ever came by to clean our room. They never brought us clean towels. The trash can outside was overflowing.

To start off there was no lobby staff at all, the shower did not work and when we let them know the maintenance staff lied saying it works it had a literal trickle, no ice machine, dirty bedding and floors, worst place I have ever been ever!

The Mermaid Inn was conveniently located on the beach. It was a short walk and easy access to the beach and pool. The only thing we disliked was the parking lot. It was extra hard to maneuver through it and oftentimes people were blocking the road so you could not come and go.

This was a nice inexpensive place to stay a couple of years ago. No longer. There is no office staff and no one to help. The customer service is a number and they just message you back. TheThe only people that do any thing show up at 9am with a leaf blower (alarm clock)

The location is very good,the beds are great,there is no service because there is no one there. Had trouble checking in internet tv only internet was to weak to make it work tried communication with got nowhere after two days they said some would come at 10:00 am they did not come ,doors do not seal we got several big bugs coming under door one was in our bed .I stayed in this hotel a couple years ago and loved it but new owners now will not go back

This place had roaches. There is nobody onsite therefore it is a place for underaged kids drinking alcohol. Kids that are drunk running up and down knocking on doors and running away. Very loud around there . I called the number provided and they don't care. Nobody even came to check out the roach problem.

We stayed at the Mermaid Inn and found it to be a suitable option for our trip. The location was convenient, and the accommodations were generally comfortable during our visit. However, our initial impression was affected by the condition of the room upon arrival. The bedding did not appear to be clean, the bathtub required additional cleaning, and the shower curtain was visibly worn and appeared due for replacement. We also noticed that the floors were sticky and chose to clean them ourselves before settling in. Overall, we had a satisfactory stay, but the housekeeping standards and room cleanliness could be improved. Greater attention to cleaning and room preparation prior to guest arrival would help enhance the overall guest experience.

Location is ideal! Everything else is poor! There is literally no one on site. They sent us a link for check in and it didn't work, had to call multiple phone numbers to contact someone. Our double bed room had one blanket for two beds, and no one was there. I messaged them and didn't hear back. The floors were disgusting! My crawling baby had black legs when I put him down in the first five minutes, so I couldn't put him down. Our feet were black so we never took our shoes off. The sink was leaking in the bathroom. There are lots of signs "no smoking" with a fine $$, but again no one is there, so lots of smoking. I figured we were getting budget with the "cheaper" option, but it still wasn't cheap and didn't meet basic hotel or motel standards. You're paying for location, which is delivered, but don't expect anything outside of that.

The room was pretty clean for the most part. There was some dust and cobwebs behind the curtains. Room was a bit upgraded, but ceiling was disgusting. Bed was super comfortable and room got nice and chilly to sleep! This is a self check in hotel so no staff to talk about. Ice machine could use a good cleaning. King size bedroom could use a small couch. No ocean view from the room, but a two minute walk away.

1. Room had no bath mats and we took a two room suite and one restroom. Terrible 2. The chair in the room is broken and cannot be sit on 3. Parking is limited and we did not have parking when we returned in the night 4. Any problem, we need to communicate over messenger and wait for the hotel personnel to respond. They repeat the same questions even after answering them the first time. Rather frustrating. They were responding to me through messenger. 5. There is no active hotel staff 6. Towels were dirty/stained Overall not worth the cost we paid for the Motel (we thought it is a hotel)
