Excellent accommodation for single person just looking for short term getaway, or for a family on Vacation in the Vancouver area. Front desk service, room cleanliness, linen, etc. all excellent. Transport hub nearby if public transport is needed. A bit pricy but good value for your money.

Spotlessly clean and nice unit. Nearby bus services which was excellent. Sofa, chair, TV is the only negative as they weren’t comfortable but everything else was 100%. Kitchen was well stocked.

The check in was great, friendly receptionist, and the room itself was clean and had everything we needed. But the people above and beside us were very loud. We came back around 11 from a concert and there was no where to park, as we had paid for parking. Ran into reception to ask where to park and they were closed! So we had to drive in circles for a while until someone left a spot. Overall it was fine and in a convenient location.

We stayed for 4 days in June 23 during a visit with family and friends on Vancouvers West Side. Nice suite but the sofa / furnishings are a bit firm and surprisingly, TV had no Canadian news channel but carried FoxNews.

UBC Gage Suite Apartment

Couldn't stay the first night as it was unusually a cold night and no heating in the unit. Informed front hotel they said they can't help as heat is turned off for the building and will bring a portable heater and later informed me that they don't have any heater left. I got sick with a bad cold as the room temperature in the living room and bedroom was 13C Had to leave around 10:30 pm to leave and stay with a friend in his place in Vancouver island.

Pleasantly surprised by this stay. Property has clearly been recently renovated and is in excellent condition. Campus life during stay and access to amenities (new Rec and Aquatic facilities) was excellent. Decent food options (albeit too much reliance on chains). Amazing access to ocean views and beach. Will stay again when next traveling with my kids.
