8/10 Very good

Beautiful views from our room. Our room was clean and comfortable. It is an older hotel, in need of many updates.

Great location, decent value.

Location is great! Right across the road is a fantastic view of the mountains and a big waterfall (when there's enough snowmelt or rain). The property looks a bit aged, but they keep the rooms updated and we'll furnished. Not sure if all the rooms have a mini kitchen in them, but ours did. Beds were a bit softer than what I normally sleep on at home, but still very comfortable. There's also an indoor hot tub and sauna attached to the main building. We were only there for one night but had an enjoyable stay.

Individualized approach

The motel staff were very accommodating. As someone with allergies to chemical scents, including detergents, I appreciated the efforts the manager took to ensure my room was allergy free.

Beds were on the soft side. Refrigerator was too cold and froze most of our refrigerated items.

The stay was so nice we extended an extra day.

Though arrived late prior communicated information from the motel helped for easy check-in. The room with king bed was good and clean.

Big rooms. Great view. Quiet but still close to town. A good experience.
Walter, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Fairly quiet, I’m guessing most other guests are skiers or here for outdoor activities. Clean and very convenient to have dishes, fridge, and microwave. It’s not fancy at all, the rooms are definitely older but for the cost, convenience, quietness and safety it was all that we needed

8/10 Very good

Overall the property was clean; however, majorly outdated, even for mountain accommodations. It needs a facelift, for sure. Good location short drive to June and Silver Lakes.

6/10 Good

The location of the hotel is good. The staff was nice to show me how to get the key as I arrived. The room was not new but clean. Big king-size bed was comfortable. No weird smell in the room. I was satisfied with what I paid.

Great Little Place

Great location. 5 minutes from the Lifts (by car). Quiet. We arrived and the key was taped to the window, which was a bit strange, but everything worked out. Room had a nice kitchennette nook with a microwave, keurig (some keurigs provided). Door locks from the outside. Warm and cozy. No problems at all.

Total ripoff

The place was relatively clean, but the bed was terrible, i.e. you sank and your partner rolled toward you if you moved. We never met anyone at the property and our key was taped to the office door.
Alice, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Bed bugs, filthy - Please don't go.

Absolutely horrible hotel room. Please do not book here if you want peace of mind and keep your family safe! Family dealt with bed-bugs and there is no response / support from on-site management. Other pathetic state of the hotel: Spa was out of propane (who knows if that's an excuse). Towels were dirty, Lamp shade was torn, Kitchen light wasn't working...Pathetic and please save your well being and money by not going here!

It was sufficient for a night but won't stay there again. The front desk was never open, just a phone number posted in case of emergency; The chairs in the bedroom area were about the fall apart; The toilet brush was just sitting on the floor not in a holder; The kitchen floor had a bubble, like the floor underneath was not in good shape; The stairs going up to the 2nd floor were wobbly as they were partially rusted and only attached by 3 bolts at the top; The sign in the kitchen said you will be charged $35 for any unwashed dishes; Loud trucks of the hunters and fishermen leaving at 3am and 5am; Nothing in walking distance.

Unsatisfied, Dangerous, Unsafe

No one around to check us in at check in time...second floor walkway was in need of repair and hand rail was ready to give, posts were broken at floor of walkway.. EXTREMELY UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS....one good push and that person or persons would fall to the first floor..... WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN......TOTALLY SURPRISED THAT HOTELS.COM HAS THERE NAME ATTACHED TO THIS PROPERTY......FEES SHOULD BE RETURNED

Zu teuer für das gebotene

Der Kühlschrank hat die ganze Nacht gefiebt. Es war heiß, keine Klimaanlage. Die Kaffeemaschine ging nicht.

5 stars – Peaceful and Comfortable Stay in June Lake We really enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines Inn in June Lake. We booked a one-bedroom unit with a kitchenette, and it felt like a cozy little apartment. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The location was perfect for exploring the lakes and hiking trails nearby. The front office wasn’t staffed during our visit, but there was a sign with a phone number to call or text. The person we contacted was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this was a great place to relax and recharge after a day of outdoor adventures. We would definitely stay here again.
