The positives are that we couldn’t fault the location - perfect for the town square and sightseeing and room was very clean and practical. Be aware the hotel is very dated - even with it’s amazing history there are improvements that could be made: beds were very small, uncomfortable mattress, very very light curtains (meaning you were awake every morning at sunrise.) An alarm went off very early one morning for an incredibly long time - no checks at all (certainly not on the top floor) or explanation from staff who we saw at breakfast. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and the hotel can do packed lunches for you if you ask. Overall, with so many options available I’m not sure we’d stay here again however if you’re looking for a perfect location we couldn’t fault it on that.

The apartment was in a great location, located by the subway (Rosenthaler Plat) and many restaurants. My husband and I chose a 2-bedroom apartment for us and our three boys (ages 13, 11, and 9) and it was perfectly large for us all to sleep comfortably. The communication from the front desk for check in was amazing. Rather than a check-in during business hours, they were able to send us online codes to check in and it was an absolute breeze after taking an 8-hour train from Paris. There are a few downsides to this apartment (and the others in the building, I assume). One would be the beds inside of the apartment. They were incredibly firm/hard, and by the end of our five day stay, my back and neck were in a lot of pain. The pillows were also not great, not nearly enough support. Another complaint was the level of street noise. While we LOVED the view of the street (we were on the fourth floor, and while there was no balcony, there were large windows), the noise from the street was very distracting, especially at night while we were trying to sleep. But there is air conditioning, which is a huge bonus when you visit during the summer. There is nothing better than air conditioning after walking around Berlin on the hot days. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Berlin and at the Rosenthal Residence Apartments. With some small improvements, we would very likely stay again!

This hotel a PERFECT fit if you consider visiting Berlin as a family with small kids! We booked the deluxe 2 room apartment, and it came with all amenties, we could cook for the baby, store food, eat family meals. We were even offered a baby bath and a highchair. The rooms are in perfect condition. The staff were amazing, so nice and helpful, the cleaning impeccable, and even after the check out they have been wonderful. I forgot something at the hotel, and the staff has gone out of their way to help me retrieve it. 10/10 will stay here again next time we see Berlin

Apartments are fantastic. The location is fantastic. But be aware that reception closes at 19:00 - at least on a Saturday, and if you arrive after that you have to go through a process of filling out an online form in German uploading an image of your ID, and then approving a security deposit via credit card. Only then do you get a code to access the apartment (with key cards inside). I was driving so not checking me emails, plus most were all in German - though there was one sent in English via Hotels.com. I’d still stay again, it’s just not necessarily as straightforward as you might think.

Great, modern apartment hotel in a great, busy location. We were 3 friends sharing a studio apartments and had a very comfy stay. Room is spacious, modern and clean. Sleeping comfort good. Location awesome with both U-ban, tram and buses right outside the door. We didn't use the kitchen, but it looked modern and even had a dish washer. For our 5 nights stay everything was perfect. We would only wish that the building had AC, cause the room got very hot during the warm and sunny days. But we had two fans available in the room, and we also had the windows opened during the nights. It was a bit noisy due to traffic, but doable. If you are a light sleeper, maybe the open window isn't the best solution for you though.
