The man that checked us in was Awesome! The room was very nice and clean. We really enjoyed the balcony looking out at the water and the bridge. Made to order breakfast was very nice. Can’t wait to go back

Great little hotel right on the intracoastal. It was easy to walk right over to downtown St. George street where all the shops and restaurants are. The morning breakfast and the nightly happy hour snacks were both excellent. This hotel is very well maintained, clean and has the friendliest staff. Highly recommend and we will definitely return!

sand was on our floor for our 2 day stay. yes we did have made service breakfast was NOT good stick to the basic like other hotels are doing but beautiful location pool was so small a big disappointment

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful, good selection and excellent service. The location was perfect, walked across the bridge right into the town. Beautiful views of the boats from our second floor balcony. The only negative, our room was musty, and the AC unit was inconsistent with providing cool air. We didn’t mention it to the manager, honestly, we were busy enjoying all the local history, beaches and wonderful restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great views, great breakfast, great staff-from the front desk to the housekeeper. We stayed 3 nights and loved this location. The best, most unexpected part was our final departure. I had left 3 of my favorite shirts hanging in the closet. One was an expensive Tommy Bahama shirt, and one had been a gift from my daughter. The housekeeper caught us at our vehicle with them as we were about to head out. I was so grateful, and wished I had gotten her name. All of the staff there were wonderful!

We have stayed at Marker 8 on several occasions but unfortunately this will be our last. The hotel is tired with extremely noisy and ineffective air conditioning. For the price there are better hotels.

All the rooms have either a balcony or a patio overlooking the harbor and the drawbridge. It was very relaxing sitting outside watching the boats go by. The extra large hot tub is like a small pool and also was very nice. The breakfast would be hard to beat. It was within walking distance of two breweries, a great seafood restaurant, and downtown
