Warm greeting by Carol who shared all the information and details about the property. SUPER charming and convenient location. Highly recommend.

The owner, Carol, and her husband have done an amazing job restoring the building. The woodwork alone is art! Breakfast offered lots of options, was prepared to order, and was the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. Our server, Lisa, was friendly, personable, and efficient.

Perfect place to stay for sightseeing in Louisville. Hosts were gracious and accommodating. Area is walkable with many dining options.
Monique, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Beautifully restored house with spacious, clean rooms. The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. They even thought of all the little things that make a B&B special like leaving rain ponchos out for the guests on rainy days and leaving a variety of freshly baked goods out for late night snacks. It was a 15 minute ride to Churchill Downs and 5 minutes from downtown Louisville. But, there were many restaurants and pubs in short walking distance. I highly recommend the Market Street Inn.

8/10 Very good

Very clean and quiet. Easy to find, parking was close. A lot of food options close by. Loved the walking bridge that was close. Bed was too hard and the room was too warm but the breakfast and coffee were delicious! Very hospitable and will come back in warmer weather to enjoy the rooftop patio!
