I thought I would get a room with pool in my casita like pictured but I got a room with a pool with no privacy. Right in front is the chairs for the guest and the next public pool. My room was also infested with these tiny bugs on the counters crawling through my toiletry bag as well as bugs on the floors. The AC also had this weird smell so everyday ii just wanted to get out my room. Sucks I spent this much money for a casita. Also non of the inclusive meals are that great, tastes frozen and I wouldn't come back. The views, property and the staff is very friendly though!

Overall, we cannot say enough about the service and about how cordial every member of the staff was. There was one exception where one of the hostesses at a restaurant was not very willing to help accommodate one extra person over what the reservation showed (there was plenty of room), but I really want to think that maybe she had had a bad day. I recommend going during off-season, as you will really enjoy it and never have to worry about finding room at pools, or waiting a long time for a table, etc. Again, highly recommended.

3rd time visiting and nothing has changed on the hotel same decor tables chairs they have not done anything to improve. Staff at the pool were not grateful or helpful waited over one hour and had to wave someone down in order to get a drink

Our stay at Marquis Los Cabos was truly unforgettable, not only because of the beautiful property and breathtaking ocean views, but because of the incredible staff who made every moment special. The entertainment team deserves a huge shoutout — Jared (a.k.a. “Sexy Jared”) and Monse were absolutely outstanding. Their poolside activities and evening entertainment kept the perfect balance of fun and energy, and they made everyone feel welcome and included. The dining and service staff also went above and beyond. Joshua and Adalberto provided excellent wait service with attention to every detail, while Maricruz kept us refreshed with poolside drinks and a smile every time. A special thank you to Adrianna, who greeted us by name every single morning at breakfast. That personal touch truly did not go unnoticed and made us feel so valued as guests. It’s the people at Marquis Los Cabos who set this resort apart. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were not only comfortable but genuinely having a good time. We left with wonderful memories and a strong desire to return — thanks to the team who made our experience so special.

WARNING: DO NOT STAY AT THE MARQUIS

This was the worst stay in any resort I have ever experienced. The check in process was awful, waited 6 hours and no one showed us or pointed anywhere to go. No one called or said a word when the room was ready and late. Many guests experience this. We paid for an ocean casita. Bad idea. It had leaks, broken shower, very uncomfortable pillows, and the speck of food and drinks were light and very cheap. Room leaked from balcony and windows and we had water all in the rooms, maintenance couldn't fix it and had to stay in a leaking room for a night. We had multiple cracks in the ceiling and water leaks The food options were awful, waiters were always late and the food was stale or not cooked. Even the Manager could t help us but move us into cheaper a 2nd room which the AC was very weak, hot and humid room, and windows were open all the time. I asked to be moved to another hotel or a discount on my paid bill but they would not agree to that at all. The staff couldn't clean up the property, there are water leaks all over hotel, ceilings and tons of water in common areas I warn do not pick this resort when you travel to Cabo big waste of money!!!

I have traveled to Mexico many times, but this was our first trip to Cabo and our first and LAST time staying at Marquis. While the resort itself was pretty, there is SO much room for improvement here! The room, shower and tub were nice, but the beds and pillows could have been better. Cleaning services were great in the room! The coffee shop/ cafe could have been better. The coffee was just okay and the staff was not very friendly. The unfriendly staff EVERYWHERE was a huge disappointment. I have never experienced such slow service at a resort. We waited 30-45 mins to be served a drink in the pool each time and the drinks are so watered down! I am used to the staff greeting you with a smile every time you pass them and that was not the case at the Marquis. We are also used to the staff going out of their way to make your stay excellent and that just wasn't the case here. There were several times we asked for something and if it was "out of their area" you weren't getting it unless you tracked it down yourself. The service here was awful. In my opinion they need more bars on all sides of the resort. You cannot find a bar that serves anything before 10am and there is only 1 bar at the pool. transportation to the swimmable beach would be beneficial as its a long walk! Bryan at the front desk was very rude. Check in process took forever. Food was decent, service was awful. Very disappointed in this resort and will not be going back.

Although the staff was friendly, the service was slow and inconsistent. . The lack of service at the pool was surprising. Our suite door didn't seal. The wind moved our curtians. Our housekeeping was inconsistent. Turn down was different daily. We had to ask for more coffee. The snacks were expired. The reliance on an app was annoying. Reservations were sometimes not honored

I loved this property! I liked the statues and decor. I liked the architecture of the resort. I had excellent customer service. I loved dining by the pool. Julio was perfect! I hope to see him again. At breakfast I was celebrated for my birthday. It was just a surprise. They brought out sparklers and sung for me. Thank you so much, Enrique, Juan, and Glenda! Glenda is the best waitress for breakfast! Later that evening when I returned from the marina they had sent a small cake to my room. I enjoyed walking on the beach. You can still get your feet wet and even go as close as you’re comfortable. I love how security made sure that everyone was safe and just walk the property. I even got to see a sea turtle there. She came onto the beach. One day I went to the Japanese steakhouse. It was such an experience. That is the best time I’ve ever had considering my husband loves Japanese steakhouses, and we go all the time. I’m usually over it; not this time. Try to ask about the chef with loco pollo! I love the infinity pools. One day I stayed in the pool for like 3 hours enjoying the drinks and water. I’ve never had the pleasure of staying in the water and having my drinks brought to me. Thanks to Julio! Anytime we needed something for our room we did get prompt service. The coffee and pastry shop; don’t dare miss out on it. Yes! Anytime I wanted to drink. I got a drink and it was lovely. Overall the hotel was wonderful. I was happy that I picked this resort for my birthday.

The appetizers at the Japanese steakhouse was amazing.

The food is absolutely amazing. Staff and service is wonderful however we were a little disappointed in the service in Pergola Restaurant and Casa Ballenas. We were sat two nights in a row next to large parties and all of the servers attention was focused on them. It was difficult to get drink refills or order desserts. Sakke was absolutely incredible. There is very little in the way of nightlife. They have events every night but its crammed into a small space at the only bar thats open late.
