Really nice stay, reception staff were friendly and helpful! We got a wee upgrade which was lovely! Couple little maintenance things that needed attention in the room and there was a smell outside the room which was very off putting but maybe from the nearby toilets 🙄 All round lovely stay for the price and really central location!

Room was comfortable and the bedding and the towels were fresh. We had to move rooms late on a our first night due to a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom but the staff quickly resolved the issue and were really helpful and apologetic, in both rooms the carpets were really stained and in need of a deep clean. The reception area and restaurant are are lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is in an ideal location.

Check in was very slow as they were doing a fire check at 3pm when all the guests were arriving. Very old property and we were on 4th floor only a lift up to 3rd floor and a lot of the fire doors a were wedged open.

Lift didn’t work. Even if we didn’t have luggage, which we did, my mother is disabled so that presented a significant issue. Wasn’t issued a refund, had to stay elsewhere. Hotel smelt like damp and chip fat.
