River Crossing Lodge is a rest for your soul. Magnificent views, excellent food, nice and comfortable rooms. I enjoyed the firm bed and the option to book with their mouth-watering dinner included. I enjoyed walking around on the property and would highly recommend if you are in the area.

If you want to start your Namibia holiday straight after landing, this is a good place to start. Only 8 mins drive to Windhoek, it has stunning views from almost anywhere on the property, friendly staff, good food (dinner and breakfast). Visits from Cody the cat was a bonus.

The view from this property, the nice rooms with the patios to enjoy the view and peace, the amazing food and wonderful staff as well as beautiful overall facility and pool area are some of the main factors I liked this hotel so much. The homemade bread is a total winner and the dinner was absolutely deliciously the service impeccable and set the tone for our trip. A beautiful lodge with very kind and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is very good (the dinner set menu was excellent!). A major highlight is the sunset view—simply amazing. Having two swimming pools is a great bonus. Very good value for money. Important Tip: Do not rely solely on Google Maps for directions as it is currently incorrect. Be sure to check the driving directions sent by the hotel (they usually send them a few days before arrival) to ensure you find the lodge easily. Would definitely stay here again!

A perfect place to stay after a long overnight flight. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Restaurant meals were lovely - tasty and very well cooked. We had an excellent night's sleep and were sorry that our plans meant that we could not stay longer.

Perfect relaxation destination

I stayed at the River Crossing Lodge for a few days at the end of a two week trip. The rooms are very comfortable with gorgeous views of the surrounding hills. I spent most of the time relaxing on the porch of my chalet or the porch of the main lodge. I had the full board package and thoroughly enjoyed my meals. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
