Great family trip!

Great experience! First time staying and I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was to do for children. The options for food was impressive. Definitely plan to visit again!

Not for toddlers

New water park did not meet expectations. Originally booked room for 2 nights to take two-year-old granddaughter. Unfortunately, there's nothing for a two-year-old to do Due to adults not allowed to take children down slides and her being too short to use any slides on her own. Personally was hoping for a splash pad for toddlers or an area for smaller children, very disappointing for the price we paid.

Fun, but needs staffing, organization, and signage

Arrival and check-in didn't start well. Loooooooong check-in line, and got even longer after. Guest information is not very well organized, with seemingly limited staff to answer phones. Adding to that stress, the facility is very large. Signage is not promininent. The parking lot makes little sense (again, nebulous and poorly signed). As far as value, the waterpark seems to be what you are paying for. The waterpark is new, fun for kids, but LOUD at busy times. Seems in need of some sound mitigation, hopefully that is planned. The older pool and waterslide are nice as a lower-key option. Overall, I likely would not stay here again unless the water park was the sole reason we are here. And then likely not, as check-in and getting settled should not be this arduous, even at busy times.

Bed are not comfortable

The resort is very nice. However for the amount of money they are bringing in, the beds and pillows could be more comfortable. They were like sleeping on rocks. Very uncomfortable. The rooms also need updated.

Too expensive

Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The waterpark expansion was awesome. The hotel rooms are old and beds werent the most comfy and the bath tub didnt drain fast enough and water never really got hot enough. For 1,500 for 2 rooms for 2 nights it wasnt worth the money.

Kids had a blast !

Important thing is the kids. They really had fun here!!! Thank You. The down side was our room had a feces smell. It was hard to pin point where it was coming from but possibly cleaning carpets , drapes would help. Also the pull out mattress would cripple a child and many kids can ! Cleaning and updates would certainly help. All in all we made more beautiful memories w our loved ones!

Money Grab

Tried to call about reservatoins prior to arrival, we were placed on hold indefinitely, finally hung up. When we got there, the front desk was swamped. Lines were excessively long and showed lack of preparedness. The waiver forms were confusing, and I was told that every adult present needed to fill out a form for every minor present before we could get our rooms. Then there was an "express" lane for check-in which confused everyone, because no one was sure what the "pre check-in" consisted of; most of us believed scanning the waiver form and filling it out was the pre-check-in process. Walls were thin and we listened to folks in the halls well until 1am. Sleep was shortened by garbage trucks and their beep-beep-beeping quite early in the morning. There was a bit of confusion over what our wristbands allowed us to do, and when we tried to go on the ropes course, we were told our wristbands weren't the right ones, and we had missed the cutoff point for getting the ones we needed. And let me assure you, nothing about this facility is inexpensive. You can try to ignore it, but it feels greedy and corporate. The classic bait bottles of water that your children will innocently pop open and cost the family $6 are in place, as are the $4 bottles of water in the vending machines. The place is a money grab.
