I have never stayed in a Super 8 before and it was much better than I expected it to be! There were a few things in our room that could have been cleaned better BUT will definitely stay there again if we go back to the area!!

There was no breakfast to really speak of. Waffle maker, cold cereal, toast or bagel and coffee. There was a nasty bug drinking the toilet water when we woke. I don't know what kind it was but it creeped me out about anything that was on the floor overnight.

The check in staff and cleaning staff was courteous but the next day I wanted to pay $40 and extend my check out to late check out to 2:00 p.m. to enjoy my hot tub room a little longer and the lady at the desk said no they had to clean my room. Okay so now you lost my $40 and I would have spent another night but there was dogs barking all night long outside so bad that I had to drown the noise out and I couldn't even sleep half the night. Not very courteous or welcoming in that regard.

Clean rooms, well lit parking, very quiet! A couple miles from the interstate so no traffic noise. We stayed in the off-season so you can imagine when the next door water park and RV campground is open, it can be noisy. Enjoyed 24 hour coffee in the lobby and a 24 hour Marathon station across the street.

We stayed 6 days over Thanksgiving weekend. This was a very clean hotel with great staff. The breakfast wasn’t the best. Coffee was concentrated from a box and the Juice machine was not working. Waffles were decent, no sugar free syrup and they had margarine not butter. But again for the price I paid we had no problem going out to eat.

The room was in okay condition. I did notice a couple of what looked to be small bugs in my room on 2 different days. The front desk staff was not very friendly. For example, I'm used to hearing "how was your stay?" on check out, she took my room key, checked me out and handed me a receipt. That was it. If you need a bed for the night, it will suffice. But don't expect much more than that.

The staff was excellent, moved us to 1st floor when they saw we had a lot of luggage and even helped to take it to the room. Hadn't been to a Super 8 in years but this one was nice and was remodeling to make it even nicer. Good jobs guys. I'll be back when working in Eddyville.
