The Inn was clean, comfortable and cozy. The room was a good size & the bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. The breakfast for both days was delicious. The staff, Ashley, was extremely friendly, helpful & knowledgeable of the Inn & area. This was such an enjoyable trip we will be doing back int he summer.

Everything about this B&B was lovely! The room was quiet and had every comfort you needed, the hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean, the breakfast was yummy and all staff were extremely friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!

We LOVED staying at Bedford Inn! It was so clean and the staff was so kind. The breakfast was FANTASTIC and they accommodated for my friend who is dairy free and vegetarian. We highly recommend staying and wish we could stay longer!

The location was close to everything that I wanted to do so I just parked the car and walked the whole weekend. Paula gave us some excellent dinner recommendations and she was very helpful with a heat issue we had in the room. The breakfast was very good as well and the hotel was clean and customer service was good as well.

Very nice place. We arrived several hours early and planned to walk around town before checking in, but the owner spotted us parking on the street in front of the building and invited us to check in early. Lovely home and they can easily accommodate vegetarian/vegan requests.

Place is in a great location and very charming Breakfast was delicious and the wine and cheese and homemade cookies was such a nice touch in the afternoon. Bed was comfy, bathroom was spacious and updated and room was very clean. Decorations for Christmas were lovely. Paula runs a tight ship and keeps the place top notch. If you are looking for a great B&B this is the one!

Online photos of this B&B don't do it justice. It is beautiful and immaculate inside and out. Paula and her staff are fabulous. We will definitely stay there again! The only negative is parking. The good thing is, once you park, everything is so walkable, you don't need to move your vehicle till you are leaving for home.

We loved the Bedford Inn because we had early morning starts well before their normal breakfast time and when we explained our predicament the Bedford Inn manager said no problem and proceeded to give us boxed breakfasts for both days of our stay and deliver them at 5:30am. Now that is what I call going above and beyond for your customers. Thank you Bedford Inn.

My family has been vacationed in this part of New Jersey since the late 1950s, so I have stayed in quite a few different hotels and BnBs. I chose the Bedford Inn based on the reviews I read, its location, and photos of food I saw on social media. My visit exceeded all my expectations, and this is the only place I will stay on future trips to the Cape May area. The breakfasts featured delicious, inventive twists on classic dishes, my room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and I appreciated all the storage space, especially in the newly-remodeled, gorgeous bathroom. There was plenty of parking on the property as well as on the street, and I was also grateful for the keyless entry—one less thing to worry about! Paula is a gracious host, and I already told my Cape May-loving friends that they need to put this inn on their itineraries.

Had to walk four blocks for breakfast when bed and breakfast at the same location was expected. Turned out the Bedford Inn has been bought up by the Queen Victoria Inn and others and is now more of a wide-spread campus than a simple bed and breakfast. Very confusing while they transition and staff learn new roles. Wish we had been told not to expect the same as last year since last year had been a true bed and breakfast which we enlisted. The new campus may be completely fine when the dust settles and when people can be accurately told what to expect in the future but this was NOT what we expected when we made our reservation and we over heard numerous complaints while there which are attributable to all new system that has not yet settled in. Disappointed.

We stayed in Edward's room. I hadn't realized the property layout. This room was on the first floor right near the front door and the two windows on either side of the bed look onto the porch. When people are on the porch talking, you can hear them. You also hear people coming and going and talking in the parlor or foyer. The room itself was nicely decorated, but some of the furnishing seemed a bit unstable, especially the wardrobe. The temperature of the room was good for us, however, it should be noted that we were told we could only control the AC and that if adjustments needed to be done to the heat, we would have to call Paula and let her know and she would adjust. I mention this because the website description says you have control over both, which is not really accurate. Paula was very nice and accomodating. She was able to meet dietary restrictions and changes. The food was amazing! The wine and cheese or cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch as was the availability of tea at any time. I would recommend the inn, but I would not stay in Edward's room again because of the noise factor.

Things have changed.

We stayed here before and it was very nice but this time it wasn’t. The room was small, we only had one chair to sit on and the bed was small and not very comfortable. The floor was sloped from the bed to the door! Very unusual! Breakfast was good. Different kind of egg frittata every morning, toast, yogurt and fruit and little packets of cereal and milk.They had muffins, hard boiled eggs,Orange juice and also coffee.That was good but on the other hand the afternoon tea and cookies that were also included in the package was served at a different bed and breakfast that was a10 minute walk from ours. It was extremely hot and walking was a challenge. That was not like that before. It was served on site. We heard that is a new owner and things have changed. The biggest problem is the parking! They have very limited space and if you take your car anywhere you can’t find a spot anymore. We had to leave our car 2 blocks from our B&B overnight and half of next day. Next time we’ll probably try another B&B.
