The place was lovely and spacious. So much better than staying at a hotel. The owner was wonderful. When we got there, the front door wasn’t wanting to lock and she ran right over with some tools and got it fixed for us. It was a great location for grabbing a quick McDonald’s breakfast before heading out on our tours. If you have time, visit the distillery that is right across the street. And walk down to the Ness River island. It’s not a bad walk and the island is beautiful - the owner recommended it to us when she came to fix the lock.
There’s only two things I would mention. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs for the master bedroom. It faces the street and in the wee early morning beginning around 4:00/4:30 people will ride their noisy motorcycles by. Also, if you have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, walk lightly as the floors squeak. But these are not issues that would stop me from staying again. We loved it. So much better than a crowded, noisy hotel.
