Typical of other Best Western hotels we have stayed at. Rooms are well appointed and furnishings appear to have been upgraded fairly recently, beds are comfortable, and staff was courteous and helpful. The included breakfast was also good with a large variety of options (omelets, waffles, potatoes, bacon, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and various breads and pastries).

Decent place for a night or two

Our overall experience was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, breakfast was decent, and the location was good. The downside was how noisy it could be in the room. We were at the end of the building, but could still hear everything from people talking out loud outside in the hall, to toilet flushing from other rooms, electric cars coming in and out, etc. wondered if that’s why earplugs were there for use.

We checked in late and tired, and the front desk person was so very nice and welcoming. The room was clean and didn’t smell bad, and bed was comfy. What more could you want? Thanks Best Western China Lake!
