After over a month of staying here, my employee was told—via front desk staff—that the GM felt he was “talking to them too much” and should leave them alone. This was especially surprising since those interactions were always friendly and positive.
This is also the same manager who previously criticized me for requesting fresh linens after my kids accidentally spilled something during a separate stay while our home was under renovation.
As a long-stay hotel, you would think positive, respectful interaction between guests and staff would be encouraged—not discouraged. Instead, this approach created an uncomfortable environment not just for us, but for the staff as well.
Our nonprofit frequently books accommodations in the area and had consistently chosen this location because of its convenience. Unfortunately, after this experience, we’ll be looking elsewhere moving forward.
