Been staying here for years and cleaning in the rooms has gone down. Found mold in bathroom and toilet holder was gross as had poop stain. Staircase was lose. Breakfast was limited and few healthy options

Heri Heights is relaxing, secure and quiet. The location is great for excursion and local travel. However, it falls short for apartment - hotel travelers needs for in house conveniences. The check in experience needs system and process improvement. Eve from the front office was exemplary in facilitating my accommodation despite these gaps. Accommodations are clean and spacious, however, in need of maintenance. The restaurant offerings are ok but there are plenty options nearby.

Heri Heights: Nairobi near town

Heri Heights is close to town, walking there or back through the university of Narobi residences area. The nearby Arboretum has attractive walking paths for a day break too. Cafe for breakfast and other meals means you seek outside options only when you want to. Kitchens are well enough equipped to allow you to self cater, and the hotel offers to shop for you at need. As a rule, meats are tastier but much smaller and tougher cuts than you may expect, and fruits and vegetables are varied and very good. Wireless internet is good and quick, though it can overload when the apartments are all full. Energy saving has upgraded some lighting to LED, with compact fluorescents in most standard bulb fittings. Wardrobe space is generous. Nairobi traffic is justly notorious. Especially at mornings and evenings, expect near gridlock and long travel times around town. You'll be able to get advice on how much time travel will need, if you need to arrive at a certain time.
