Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a location that’s annoyingly convenient. You can walk to the river, beach, pubs, and cafés in minutes, which means you barely need the car. The pool area is a nice bonus, and while it’s still a motel at heart, it’s a well-kept one. Overall it’s a solid, reliable stay.

Smallest fridge ever!, family of four cramped into a small room. The pool needs maintenance as concrete has fallen away exposing rusty metal. Reception isn't open till 11-11.30am, Pool closes too early and the rooms above the cafe are exposed to noise pollution at any given time of the day. Apart from that staff were great!
