Awesome place to stay

We had a great overnight stay at the Bella Vista! The managers were very friendly and offered some helpful tips when we told them we were heading to the South Island after checking out. The motel is in a really nice part of Wellington with a nice cafe a short walk away and great restaurants a bit further up the hill. Would definitely stay there again.

A very quiet location and easy to park up and only a 17 minute drive to the interisland ( 7 am timings) Only has a microwave for cooking but enough crockery and cutlery to prepare a simple meal. Would stay again. Lovely people, happily changed the room to a lower floor as hubby had hurt his ankle, even offered bed options. Daily room clean(unexpected). Everything you need, close to the airport and waterside walks. Free parking. The only downside was the lack of access to food areas at night, but a great daytime bakery & cafe nearby. We found we needed to travel by car to find somewhere for dinner, not easy during public holidays as many were closed. There are kitchen facilities provided and a supermarket a few kms away. Also some plane noise from the airport but this didn't bother us at all.
