I recommend getting a room in the main building if possible. I was in a side building with no elevator, and with some physical issues I had, it was difficult to carry my bags. The restaurant was excellent, and known for its grilled beef dishes. The hotel is conveniently located for bicycling along and into the nearby hills. It's also conveniently located for hiking. There is a small pool, but with an air jet that is powerful enough to use for lap swimming (without a lap). There are also three saunas.

Lovely hotel in the most beautiful town on the German wine route. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, beautiful spa and the most amazing breakfast buffet! Breakfast is until 11.00h so you can really make the most of it. The overall atmosphere is lovely, calm and relaxed. Would definitely visit again!

Very nice hotel with good amenities. We got a deluxe room and it was very nice with a nice tub and shower and a large comfortable bed. Restaurants on-site are very nice. If I had one small suggestion it would be to have some small snacks available for purchase by guests as it is in a rather rural area and it is difficult to get a snack if other shops and restaurants are closed.
