Located in the Black Hills and very close to Mt. Rushmore. The food was excellent and the room was huge. The staff was fantastic, they are very friendly and helpful. This year was like our 5th year staying there because the wife and I go to the Sturgis Rally. At the last minute we had to take our almost 7 year old grandson with us and they were so good to him. we will definitely be going back next year and possibly later this year.

This is a perfect haven right off Mt Rushmore Rd. Room is nicely decorated, spacious bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Breakfasts are hand crafted and served in the on-site restaurant. Staying here you avoid the downtown area and are actually closer to Mt Rushmore. ( Downtown only 10 minutes anyway. ) We ate at the restaurant on the patio, live music, just a beautiful little spot.

Besides the amazing property and location, the food and service were a 10! Recently aquired by the owners in the spring of last year, there have already been improvements to the grounds with new flower beds and landscaping. Clean, private and safe environment! Very pleasant visiting with the hosts. We highly recommend and we can't wait to stay there again!

This is one of the best B&B's I have stayed at. The rooms are so nice and cozy. The owners are extremely friendly, and the food is so good. Not you typical "breakfast included" fair. We are already planning our next trip back, and we will be eating at shipwreck almost every meal!

I really liked the queen loft room we stayed at, for both privacy and the unique layout. The daily breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was a big plus. Perfect place to stay!

The Sweetgrass Inn B&B was the perfect place to stay on our vacation. The room was perfect! Clean and comfortable beds. The restaurant had a lot of food options and was very good. We highly recommend Sweetgrass Inn B&B to anyone traveling to South Dakota! We will be back!

Nice place for comfort and quiet. Hot water is a major issue. They shoud'nt offer a jetted tub if they don't have enough hot water to fill it. Also we were the only guests there for 2 days and the water issue remained the same. The bathroon vanity is very small with no countertop to lay out the usual things people have with them and would like to have them within reach when getting ready for the day or even brushing teeth. Instead of extending our stay a couple of days longer we decided to find other accomodations.

This is the place to be when you wanna be outside of rapid but close enough to see it beautiful location friendly staff awesome room and having the best walleye fingers at the eatery next door will make you glad you went and sad when you have to go back to reality.
