The hotel is gorgeous with a spectacular view of the mountains. The property has lots of scenic trails with lookout points. The staff is kind and everything is very clean. The hotel and restaurant are very eco-friendly, and fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs can be seen growing on the property using sustainable resources. Our family really enjoyed the night tour with our guide Eduardo, who was funny, making it all the more fun. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The food was fresh and delicious, especially their red fruit pie!

Might need a car to get into town, but a great hotel. Food on site was amazing and affordable. Best pizza in Costa Rica. The hiking trails were a nice afternoon and morning adventure. Would recommend this place to anyone. Great view of the sunset (unfortunately some clouds blocked the full view during our stay).

Wonderful stay here. They have beautiful sustainable farm values that were a wonderful bonus to the stay. We stayed two nights here. The sunset views and rainbow sitings were magical. Staff is so kind and accommodating. Everyone was very pleasant to interact with. Drive to selvatura was about 25 min away.

This is our favorite place we've ever stayed. I don't think the listing does this place justice. The property is amazing. We were bummed that our stay wasn't longer and that we didn't have the time to walk some of the trails on the property. Wonderful staff, great rooms, the most amazing views day and night. The on-site restaurant is fantastic. If we have the chance to return to Monteverde, we will schedule around making sure we can stay here again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Great location with amazing views and fresh food. We were able to set up a yoga class overlooking the ocean and a night hike where we saw all kinds of amazing animals. The staff were very helpful and the hiking trails were well maintained and full of points of interest.

A quiet retreat for nature lovers. We enjoyed every meal at the farm to table restaurant looking over a vast valley that ends in sea. The property’s cloud forest trails are as lovely as the one you pay for at the Monteverde reserve. The rooms were stunningly beautiful. I felt safe allowing my teenage daughters to roam unsupervised.
