We came in for a softball tournament. Hotel was 7 mins from the ball field and convenient to restaurants and other stores. Right on the beach was a plus as well. The only thing we didn’t like is ppl sitting outside of our door smoking as we are not smokers. Other than that it was a great experience and we will use this place again.

Don’t waste your time or money here

When we arrived, our room had a strange smell to it, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. The maintenance guy (who was right next door) said that he fixed it but it did not flush the entire time we were there so we had to fill the tank with water to flush ourselves. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and I didn’t get hardly any sleep because of it (& the barking dogs nearby). Would not recommend!

Dated but clean and cheap

The stay was fine. Nothing bad nothing great. It was a good place to stay for one night to get out of the house and enjoy the beach. It’s a little outdated but was clean on the inside. Beds were find. Could use an additional pillow or two. The windows shine a lot of light from the outside at night. All in all, would stay here again for a quick trip

Room was clean.. a little outdated. Took five min for water in shower to get hot and air conditioner didn't work all the time. But for price and location I was overall happy..

This is a real find here at MB. Friendly staff and a clean room for the price is unbeatable. It’s not a resort but if you want to have a nice clean place right on the beach, this is it! My daughter and I came down for one night and we definitely will be staying here again!

uncomfortable bed

The service was great, very nice front desk. We got into town early and they allowed us to check in early. The room was clean and nice. The location was perfect, right on the beach. I will not come back though, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. I didn't sleep much that night.

Pleasant trip

The staff was excellent. I had a beautiful view of the beach from my room. Hotel is definitely older and it shows. No elevator and I was on the third floor so had to make several trips up and down the stairs to get everything I needed to my room. One incident of someone trying to get into my room but I’m pretty sure they were confused and was trying to get into their room by mistake. Was quite with no loud music.

Comfy 1 night

We stayed 1 night as it was a stop on our travels. The staff are wonderful people! Helpful, friendly, personable - couldn’t ask for better folks. The room was very clean, bed comfy, apartment sized fridge & microwave with a coffee maker. The place is older, but you have a very short walk to the beach, a pool, and a comfy bed. No complaints!

Never again

Worst place I've ever stayed in. We packed up and left to come home at 2am. The person staying above us was loud and yelling nonstop. There was no one in the office after 6pm. The room we stayed in needs to be painted. The ceiling was peeling and black mold was visible. There was also mold in bathroom and baby cockroaches.

Great location!

This is an older motel that needs some work, but the location is great. My room had a balcony which had a view of the ocean, which was very nice. Everything was in working order. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and had a nasty odor coming out of it. Everything other than that was clean. The bed was not the most comfortable, but not the worst one I’ve ever experienced. The front desk/manager, Michelle, was extremely helpful and nice!

vintage vibe

I was looking for a cheaper place to stay. We were visiting family and were not spending time in the room or on the beach. I have a thing for Vintage Motels too. I loved the old pool which was very clean even in the winter. Our room was a bit old feeling and not in the good vintage way. However I arrived in the right frame of mind and was happy with the accommodations. The sheets looked extra clean. We brought our own pillows and a blanket to put on each bed. I felt fine and had a gorgeous view of the ocean that came with a fantastic sunrise. It seemed some high school kids were hanging out on the steps and plugging their phones to charge Sat night but they weren't threatening. The Staff was extra nice. I'd stay again but the key was having my own pillows and blanket!

Beautiful motel

This hotel was wonderful. We had a room ocean side which was awesome. It was also very dog friendly. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and having a kitchenette was amazing. We recommend it and would stay again
