Staff was super nice and upfront about the check out time and apologized beforehand for an issue with keycards, so they let me in with the master key. The room itself is in DIRE need of some TLC. Had a musty ofor upon entering. The in room hottub was dirty and visibly needed som repairs. Shower water would not heat up. Toilet seat was crooked. Ceiling had cracks and spots a plenty in the bathroom. Cloor boards were cracked and jutting up, making a tripping hazard. Bed had cigarette burns and mysterious stains. For the emergency residence i needed (incoming blizzard), it was fine but after my night stay i have had a headache all day. Would onyl recommend under emergency situations.

Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The bathroom sink was semi clogged and drained slowly. There was no side table near the bed that was next to the bathroom. I had to put the only chair in the room to create a side table. There were only 2 outlets to charge a phone: one in the bathroom. The bathroom light was on the far wall in the bathroom.

No breakfast. They didn't even have spoons or forks for the food we wanted to eat. Blankets are old and dirty. The owner after cleaning our room used some of OUR target bags as the garbage bags. This place is trash.

Just completely run down. I saw black mold around the shower stall in bath room …. Lights didn’t work, furniture all chipped up, bed was old creeky, fridge was off, nothing cozy and clean about this room.

Stay away - VERY dirty

The room was absolutely filthy, the mini fridge was leaking water, the TV didn't work, the walls were paper thin, so we heard our neighbors all night. We ended up cutting our trip short because we got no sleep and didn't want to touch anything. Even the towels looked used, sheets stained, mold on the bathroom ceiling. If I could give zero stars I would.

We were very disappointed with the Maple Leaf. Walking into the room we could tell there was a mildew/cigarette smell. The toilet jiggled when we sat on it and stood up. the sheets were stained as well as one of the pillows. I did not use that pillow, and I even brought my own pillowcases. There were a few cigarette burns on the bottom sheet. We just felt so gross that we didn't sleep under the covers. We had reservations for two nights but we could not continue our stay there.

Absolutely disgusting!!!!

I was in shock at how disgusting and dirty this place was. I could not believe that it was actually open for business. Hair on all of the sheets and pillowcases. Dust and stains on all of the walls, spiderwebs, a giant stain on the only chair in the room. And to top it off, there was mold stains on the ceiling in the bathroom. I took pictures of everything, and I am definitely going to report this.

Its an old motel that could use renovations and upkeep. Our room wasn't so clean and smelled musty. Towels were given to is dirty, Bathroom door didnt close all the way. Pillows were flat bed like cardboardCheck in was easy but they need to improve on the upkeep and cleanliness of the motel

Everything was great for what we needed. There's even a pathway down to a grassy area right on the Housatonic River - great place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning. Only complaint was having to wait 10 minutes to check-in because no one was in the office when we arrived (3pm).

The floor hasn't been washed in years. The shower curtain has red mold on the bottom. The toilet wouldn't flush.properly. Had to have owner fix but still didn"t work. The toilet seat was not attached to the bottom correctly. swung from side to side. My boyfriend had to clean the air conditioner filter because it didn't maintain cool air and didn't want bacteria flying in the air. About to inches of dirt on the filter. Cigarette burn in the blanket. I took my socks off on the bed and walked into the bathroom. When I came back, the bottom of my feet felt weird. They were black from dirt!! Filthy filthy floor. They should be ashamed of themselves and the board of health should be involved!! DO NOT RENT!!!

Well, we weren't looking for anything fancy, as it was the lowest price in the area. Only real issue is that the overall cleanliness of the room and surroundings was not good. If they do a thorough cleaning of the entire place, it would be much better for all guests.
