Why not stay at a castle?

One advantage of having a petty aristocracy is lots of castles around. This 1800s castle and grounds has been converted into a convention center and hotel. The rooms (in t the servants quarters) were clean and comfortable (with a real double bed!) but somewhat dated, the prize is the breakfast in the main house.

Mkt bra personal och mat på kvällen. Frukost ok. Rummet svinkallt golv, speciellt i badrummet en matta där hade varit bra och en till hängare för de små handdukarna fanns bara en. Väldigt fult sängöverkast och kala väggar saknar tavlor. Hade varit fint med en pytteliten chokladbit till snabbkaffet på rummet. TV n urgammal och dålig bild. Känns som man behöver hitta upp rummen lite.

Ringde två dagar innan besök för att arrangera tidig incheckning (från 14.00, skulle kosta 150kr extra). Anländer 14.02 och får då veta att vårat rum INTE är färdigt. Har blivit någon kommunikationsmiss hos personalen. Vi får tillsagt att rummet ska vara klart inom 15 minuter. Vårat resesällskap fick checka in tidigt trots de inte har ordnat med det på förhand. När klockan är 15 (ordinarie incheckningstid) har vi fortfarande inte fått tillgång till rummet. Så en tidig incheckning blev en sen incheckning. Fick frågan om vi ville ha en läsk som ersättning, vi tackade nej. Sängen var för mjuk för våran smak. Hade större förväntningar på frukosten... Trevlig personal, men funkar inte att de behöver springa runt och göra flera saker samtidigt. På morgonen var det tydligen höstmarknad. Det var en utmaning att ta sig in i flygeln (boendet har flera externa byggnader med rum) då någon parkerat en skåpbil tätt inpå dörren så den inte gick upp helt (känns inte bra i brand/utrymningssynpunkt). Vid utcheckning står receptionisten ute och säljer "hotellmerch"(?) så blir en liten kösituation.

Härlig miljö

Även om skicket på hotellrummet inte var toppen (det luktade från avloppet) så hade vi en fin vistelse i den vackra miljön. Det vara lugnt och skönt och en härlig frukostsal att äta middag i, nära till tunnelbanan. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Eine besonderes Hotel, wunderschön gelegen. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Der Park, in dem es liegt ist traumhaft. Betten hervorragend. Frühstück sehr lecker. Badezimmer müsste renoviert werden.
